Investor Jim Rogers thinks Bitcoin is still in a bubble and the cryptocurrency will eventually go to zero and disappear.
The investment guru who said Bitcoin was in a bubble as early as 2017 recently speculated that all cryptocurrencies will be gone eventually.

In an interview with the Asahi publication AERA dot on June 19, investor Jim Rogers said cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin (BTC) “will be in decline eventually and everything will go to zero."

"Those who use cryptocurrency think they are smarter than their governments,” Rogers said to AERA dot. “In fact, I think they are correct. But their governments have something that crypto people don't have. That is guns. The reason why I think cryptocurrency will be gone eventually is that it is not based on the armed force of governments' power."

John McAfee’s controversial Ghost distributed exchange, which promises anonymity, is now live.
John McAfee’s controversial Ghost distributed exchange is now live, the cryptocurrency advocate announced on Twitter over the weekend.

Some Bitcoin derivatives exchanges profit massively from position liquidations but traders can avoid this by actively managing stop-losses.
Most traders fail to understand how Bitcoin (BTC) derivatives exchanges handle their risk. There is a consensus that the winners get paid by the losing parties, but it is not as simple as it seems.

Insurance funds were initially designed to protect clients positions during excessive volatile periods. Nonetheless, some exchanges such as BitMEX display a relatively steady insurance fund hoarding despite significant hourly price swings of 10% or higher.

Ether options could be the new fuel that drives growth in the crypto market.
Ether (ETH) options are having a fantastic year, with open interest on Deribit — the largest market for these options — having surged 315% to $158 million over the past two months, breaking the $150-million barrier for the first time ever.

Even though Ether first came about only to serve the users of the Ethereum platform as a wallet to use with the apps developed on the platform, it has in the recent past emerged as the clear competitor to Bitcoin (BTC), being the second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization.

Five signs are pointing to Bitcoin being in a bull market despite its inability to break through the multi-year resistance at $10,500.
Bitcoin (BTC) price has been sideways for several weeks with now over a month since the halving. This is very much reminiscent of early 2017 when Bitcoin hit $1,180 for the second time, triggering a catastrophic sell-off causing the top-ranked cryptocurrency to fall by nearly 40% in a single day.

It was over, Bitcoin was declared dead, and what happened after is the first sign that we were in for a bull market.

Bitcoin remains in good shape to retest $10K while a BTC price pullback to as low as $7Ks may provide a good opportunity for buyers.
The price of Bitcoin (BTC), the top-ranked cryptocurrency by market capitalization, is acting inside a narrowing range, still hovering around $9,000. Meanwhile, we’re also seeing a decrease in volume, alongside an increasingly shaky stock market, which is likely to impact Bitcoin as well (read the recent analysis here).

However, would a retrace towards $7,700 be a bad cause for the markets or is it crucial to sustain above $9,000 for any bullish momentum?

Peter Schiff agrees with the Fed that Bitcoin should be classified as fiat currency.
Economist, financial commentator and gold advocate Peter Schiff once again bashed Bitcoin in a tweet, essentially calling it fiat currency — the name for regional currencies, such as the U.S. dollar.

"The Fed gets Bitcoin right," Schiff said in a June 20 tweet, adding:

While being a vital part of the transition to more scalable and secure blockchain, the Ethereum 2.0 upgrade can incur some risks for stakers, holders and traders.
Alongside the ultimate scalability and security for the Ethereum network, the upcoming Ethereum 2.0 upgrade to a proof-of-stake model promises to bring additional, new benefits to its users, too. One of the main attractions, which encourages buying Ether (ETH), is a staking model that allows receiving passive income for the validation of transactions. And here, the users are able to choose between two different options: The first implies depositing 32 ETH and running a validator node software, and the second allows for staking without having to deposit or run nodes by joining third-parties’ pools.
