I think the community is still waiting for ETH 2.0 Testnet in August, if everything goes smoothly: POS, Shardings, transaction speed ... then the community's expectation in the future of Ethereum will increase, buying trend will push ETH price to $500 by the end of this year.
As for the $1000 price - I think that might be the mission of 2025

Now Ethereum is $301 and started pump as a running horse from the last few weeks as we know Ethereum Testnet 2.0 is ahead.  Ethereum may hit $500 by the end of this year but now it is difficult to cross $500. It is likely cross $350 which is possible from the real perspect of this situation. But nothing is impossible in crypto as we know from the past experience 2017.

I already give up of giving any opinion regarding the price of some of my favorite cryptos. I believe Eth will make a good hit back from its highest price before but the days or when this come to pass is unpredictable.

As of this writing ETHEREUM touches now the $300 resistance, it's a very strong indicator that the price is now moving to that $500 level, maybe by the end of the year this will be realize. I am a strong faith of eth that will break that level and will increase.even more up to the 2017 price high. It is now the right time to invest and hold ethereum because there is a greater possibility that it will increase even more.
