For me, bitcoin is worth the equivalent of the developed world average of 1 year income. It is a dream for many people because betting on bitcoin has very little risk

Bitcoin can slide any time no matter someone is pumping money into it because the value of bitcoin is so great. Bitcoin's future is opening a new page and it can slide and mark its highest point and return to its true value.

Bitcoin price today touched 40k$ Mark & continue to growing  but can we see Again big dump like 2017?
I think NO, because.....
in 2017 , most of the investors were retail investors like me or this forum community peoples but this time big investment company like Grayscale, Microstrategy , JP Morgan, Paypal & Big investors like  Paul Truder Jones, Michael Sayilor are in the game.
that means they will not sell their btc rather they will buy more.
So that we can't see big dump like 2017 & btc will be going to higher day by day.
The bull run in 2017 was controlled by whales that were able to pump and dump the price of bitcoin anytime they felt like, and your right this time there are large investors who invested into bitcoin also the mass adoption of bitcoin with the help of PayPal has helped to increase bitcoins popularity, but just because those large investors invested in bitcoin doesn't mean the price of bitcoin cannot dump, don't forget the market can not always go up this is the bull run we have all been waiting for, so let's enjoy it and make profits while it last cause the bear days are gonna come soon.

That’s right. It is not a bad strategy, for long term investors, to keep some cash now and invest after crash again. Just like in March 2020 or April and December 2018.
But don't confuse a crash with a healthy correction. 10% is not crash.

Don't sell to these institutions too cheap, that's what I'm thinking. There is a liquidity crisis and it's ok if it's not resolved. Institutions and their millions will have to pay hefty premiums to buy these coins now, it's not a problem. Anyone who wants to invest billions will have to wait until 6 figure BTC, simple.

A bit of 2017/18 decline in bitcoin will now be seen, big companies have started investing in bitcoin and the price has reached $40K. Obviously, anyone who buys at this rate will not want to sell at a lower rate.

No one can guarantee that Bitcoin will not fall because BTC suddenly falls in 2017 when its price reaches $20k and this time the prediction is $200k, so there is a huge chance that it will be fall back.

Because a very bad nightmare should not happen twice hahaha
But I am also sure that it will not be down very deep as in 2017. The ATH is now twice than previous ATH. And if the percentage of the down is like the same, so, it may fall into $10k? Wow, so drastic, hopefully, it will not happen

Bitcoin prices are rising day by day.  Bitcoin is going to increase gradually as the days go by. At present the price of Bitcoin is more than 41 thousand dollars.  Bitcoin went a long way in 2017 but then made a big dump.  I don't think there will be any such big dumping this time.  Because now everyone wants to hold bitcoin. But in 2017, no one held bitcoin, everyone sold it at a profit, which led to a big dumping.

You are right at 2017  every one have sold  bitcoin, they has sold fastly while profit, No one want to hold. It is different with this year. Every one want to hold bitcoin because they believed bitcoin will rise and more valuable at the coming future

Bitcoin patterns since it was introduced goes up and down which is a normal cycle for an investment. Like in the stocks market that even you invest in the blue chips but still it will not guarantee that you will not lost your investment. So for me, everything is possible to Bitcoin specially if the others would like to sell already because they have already gained big.

I also read many people said, bitcoin will fall because crypto currency is volatile.

Because currently Bitcoin users are smarter, the number of Bitcoin is limited and there are many fans. So that surely the price will be more stable with the continuing increase.

Well from all the predictions of price up and price dump I have read, some analysts believe btc will come down to 20k before going back up, if this is what will happen then i don't think btc will be like that of 2017, although 40k down to 20k will be 50% down, it is huge but not close what what happened in 2017.
