Which token will Elon Musk integrate into X?

Elon Musk's X app has been the subject of much speculation in the crypto community in recent months, with many wondering whether it will integrate crypto payments.

Cypto fans believe that X is likely to integrate Dogecoin, given Musk's support for the crypto. Musk has been a vocal advocate for Dogecoin, even going so far as to call it his "favorite crypto". He has also tweeted about the possibility of X integrating Dogecoin payments.

Meanwhile, Musk has incorporated Dogecoin for payments on Tesla’s merchandise store, along with occasionally mentioning it on social media. Many speculate that it’s the most likely crypto to be included on X if any were to be featured^[1].

I believe that if X integrate cryptocurrency payments, it could have a significant impact on the cryptocurrency market. It would be the first major app to do so, and it could lead to a surge in adoption of cryptocurrencies.

Besides DOGE, some people predict that some X-- token could be chosen like XRP, XLM, XDC, XYO but I think of XBT, another Bitcoin tiker^[2].

So DOGE and XBT are the 2 crypto that I think of first in case Elon Musk wants to integrate crypto. Recently Elon Musk doesn't want to talk about crypto too much^[3], so I'm quite worried.

I wonder how Elon Musk handle law about cryptocurrency in various country. I expect cryptocurrency feature on XPayment only available on people on certain country. Anyway, i don't expect Elon Musk will include lesser known token/cryptocurrency just because it starts with X. Although i bet he'll accept DOGE.

There was a time there were rumours like these, but Elon Musk later talked about it and said there is no plan yet to integrate any coin on platform X.

It would be the first major app to do so, and it could lead to a surge in adoption of cryptocurrencies.

Telegram supports Bitcoin, USDT and their native token called Ton. So X will not be the first major platform that is done, provided if it is done.

I saw it in the news already. I guess Elon is planning a way people will buy his Doge during the next bull run. But nobody yet known if cryptocurrencies will be part of the payment as people are speculating that fiat payment is certain.

I know he is going to create big circus around X, like he did with Tesla, first adding and then removing bitcoin.
This guy is a liar running ponzi scheme and he should not be trusted with anything, so maybe he creates his own version of virtual currency and adds digital dollar.

I'm not too worried about it. After what he did with bitcoin and the failure he is having with X, at least financially, I am not going to worry about whether he implements this or another memecoin to pay in it. Plus I think the legal aspect is an impediment, as ABCbits also mentions.

At this point, I don't care whether he talks about it or not. The same as whether he implements payment with one coin, another or not at all.

Besides Doge, USDT or USDC will be the other option/s there. X is still a business and I'm betting that those advertisers and content creators would rather choose one that is stable over something volatile.

This is likely going to be the case. X will need to get a license per country to integrate crypto payments and offer it to their citizens. They will start in the US for sure since they already acquired a license there.

If Elon is to integrate crypto payment into X, I personally think it's not going to be any other coin other than dogecoin.
I don't know about any X coin have that possibilities, but the entire crypto space knows that Elon musk is the reason why dogecoin is where it is today, without Elon, dogecoin will probably be buried somewhere in the top 300 to 400 according to coinmarketcap, this is judging from how far alot of coins with better technology have developed, dogecoin have no technological backing, it's just a hype coin, and Elon brought dogecoin and made it sit at the top 10 in crypto currencies ranking according to coinmarketcap, I do not think he will abandon it now, so, if ever X is integrating a crypto payment, I think dogecoin will be the number one choice.

why he hasn't done it  yet despite how easy for him to launch is because of regulation. the SEC may have a go signal with BTC ETF but not with cryptocurrencies. it will be an uphill battle for him considering that he started a war with the people from high places.

I also think that DOGE will be the first choice because Elon Musk loves DOGE and he is also holding DOGE. But X can integrate both DOGE and BTC at the same time because Tesla and SpaceX are both holding BTC, in addition, BTC has been used to tip on Twitter, legal issues are not a barrier for Elon Musk and X.

I wait for the launch of this payment application, it will definitely be an exciting day for the crypto market if any token is integrated by X and mentioned by Elon Musk. It would be good if it was Altcoinstalks forum's ALTT

I think this is one of the ways Elon Musk wants each of us to be wondering what will be his next move of what to do in the crypto space.

He is so good at playing mind games for him to stay relevant in the crypto world. I could remember how he talked about fighting Mark(Facebook owner) in a boxing ring. What happened to the challenge? A forgotten matter I guess.

As for the integration of crypto payment by Elon Musk on X, it is not going to happen rather what we will be seeing is how Elon Musk is supporting Dogecoin as he use to or bringing fomo into the mind of people towards bitcoin price

Elon Musk is a person only cares about himself and he does things that will only be beneficial to him. He sold his bitcoin and invested the money in Dogecoin, so I believe this coin is what he is planning to hype, since majority of his crypto investment is in Dogecoin. A time is coming when he will see that Dogecoin is worthless and has no potential like bitcoin and he will divert back to bitcoin. So if he wanted to integrate any other coin apart from Dogecoin, that should be his own business. Elon is too proud of himself and always does thinks for public attention.

I made some transactions on layer-2 and I can't say my experience is always nice. Sometimes a contract call costs a ton, so while I don't think that's going to be the norm for regular transactions, they are not as cheap as I'd like them to be. I'm pretty sure others have the same opinion unless they choose a centralized layer-2 that basically decreases security for faster processing speed. Lightning also requires a little bit more knowledge from its users so it probably won't be the first choice for payment processors. That being said, Twitter can just ignore users' POV altogether and focus on making sure they generate as much profit as possible from transaction fees or whatever they want to label it later.

This is why I don't think we need to stress too much about whether Twitter will integrate a new coin or not. Other fundamentals are more important, not to mention bigger players already do it (like Paypal, like it or not) and the market will eventually filter out most of them. CMIIW.
