I think that Rebellious , FabricToken and Dominium with great community and great developers on their side. Good thing that everybody have the plan for is own platform which is attempting to users for good usage. Also with wallet ledger being build .
 All three are in early stages so its good now..

I think currently Ethereum is still king because this platform is still very much needed by some projects that develop ICO, so it will be very difficult for platforms from other coins to replace the role of ethereum

I also think is ripple but bitcoin have more similarity to ethereum and not ripple. If more development happen to ethereum there will not be a coin that can be competitor to ethereum at all.

Yes, I agree with you, XRP is a rival coin for Ethereum, As a technology, the Ripple platform may have real value and real history that validate the claims they make for its efficacy. The XRP token itself, however, seems to have negligible use cases. In fact, Ripple had planned to phase it out — at least, until fevered interest in cryptocurrencies began to take off in 2016. Nevertheless, as CNBC noted today, if Ripple hits $6.57, its market capitalization will be bigger than Bitcoin’s. There are 100 billion XRP tokens that were issued by the Ripple company. In my opinion, the best competitors of ethereum, are RIPPLE and EOS. As you can see this two cryptocurrency very near on the top of CMC and ripple takes the number two spot. Which is ethereum place. Right? And EOS also near to ethereum. So i think these two coins are the best competitors to ethereum.

From recent market trend I see several competitors to Ethereum, like Bitcoincash, Stellar, and even EOS, I am also thinking that Litecoin would overtake Ethereum someday.

For now I can see some good rivals for ethereum are ripple, stellar, eos, neo. But it does not rule out other possibilities in the future. After ripple exceeds the volume of ethereum some time ago indicates that ethereum has other competitors who can shift it at any time.

Yes I agree Ripple is the biggest rival of Ethereum is terms of marketcap.
But with the same platform like EOS, TRX, NEO. These platform can create tokens too and just like Ethereum. The more closer to Ethereum now is EOS. But in my own experience EOS is quiet annoying you need to pay for CPU and when you reach your CPU stake limit you need to wait again before you can send unlike ethereum you can send all the way as long as you have gas.
