« on: Today at 09:22:07 AM »That's what I'm afraid of with transaction errors so it's better to update the firmware as you suggested to be even safer, but so far using Trezor is only one 1x transaction and the rest is no longer while for the seed phrase it stores offiline in a safe place.
Firmware updates are usually needed to add new features, fix bugs, or increase the security of the hardware wallet device.
The changelog of the firmware can be a reference to see whether it is urgent to install immediately or can still be skipped, for example, because it is only a minor bug fix.
