Ethereum (ETH) founder Vitalik Buterin recently praised Zcash (ZEN), saying that the project is cool.
It all happened when someone asked him if he ever made comments on another coin, besides ETH.
The unique features of Zcash serve as an evidence to Vitalik Buterin ’s statement. In a recent Coinbase announcement, it noted that they’ll be exploring five digital assets and Zcash was one of them. This came as a big news for the community since the reliability of the coin remained questionable until then.
The exchange said;
“We may also only enable certain ways to interact with these assets through our site, such as supporting only deposits and withdrawals from transparent Zcash addresses.”
However, at the same time there’s also a group of people who believe that privacy coins like Zcash will give rise to cybercrime and other forms of criminal offenses. That’s why Coinbase said that they may enable only “certain ways to interact with these assets” through their platform.
