strongly feel bitcoin will survive this major hurdle and continue the uptrend ride to hit upto 10K$ per coin in the next couple of years.
Having said that now lets analyze the situations one by one,
Lot of governments and corporates are starting to adapt to bitcoin
Almost 50 percent of the mining power has already singnalled early SegWit2x upgrade
Almost all the other alt coins are being traded in bitcoins along side usd
And my assumption is the rest of the mining power will signal SegWit upgrade because they are solely dependent on bitcoin mining . And if bitcoin splits all the panic bears will eat away the value of the coin, resulting in total disaster. If Bitcoin drops mining will no longer be profitable and they have invested a lot on that.
Looking at all these bitcoin soon will rise exponentially..... What do you guys think... I am new to all this feel free to correct me if I am wrong..

Bitcoin managed to overcome and survived all the hacks, scams, frauds and even the powerful forces [countries pushing for its ban like China, India, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Ecuador, Nepal, etc], it encountered in its 10 years of existence. Silver replaced gold, then IOU backed gold pieces of paper replaced silver, then the value of the state's IOUs replaced gold, why not bitcoin replace IOU's that aren't backed by anything?
