Cryptocurrency Price Speculations / Re: Who is HODLing?
« on: Today at 05:01:35 PM »
One must not be a trader to have bitcoin just as its now there are people who are trader and there are people who are investors, those who decides to trade can go ahead trading while those who invest can decides to hodl till when he decides to sell or when they think is right time for them sell off their investment.
I don't see anything wrong holding or trading they all depends on individual choice on what they feels like or what to do at the moment with their coin.

Trading is time consuming and for that, even if it's profitable not everyone would have that time to buy and sell but I can say that morr than 80% of people hold coins because some traders hold coin as they trade some.

I don't how cumulative some traders can be but I can say for a fact that trading can't give more return like the way holding will give a return on investment, no stress, no any technicals, just hold and enjoy the ride but it can be emotional because the growth of coins aren't linear, it's goes up and down continuesly.

Ripple is not always a favorite coin for investors because so far there are still many coins that are favorites for investors, such as meme coin and others. Ripple can be said to be an altcoin that is quite old so there must be new innovations to continue increasing its users.

If you check very well, ripple has not been able to make quick recovery because of SEC problems and the Ripple company and when a company is having problem with security exchange commission, investors don't usually have trust in whatever the have to sell to them, this is why you don't see people hype ripple that much but there is number of investors that still hold ripple.

I'm very certain that ripple will make a good recovery because despite the fact that SEC is fighting them, they are winning, the SEC is pushing because they are back by the government but the court is ruling base on true judgement and evidence provided and ripple seems to be on the good side.

Meme Coins / Re: Top MEME Coins For 2025
« on: Today at 04:22:34 PM »
Please share your thoughts on the upcoming Meme coin Pump for the mentioned coins, as how much they will pump?

Why do you think meme coin would have a chance in 2025. Take a look at the meme coin market, which meme coin do you really think has actually reach where people were shilling? They obviously has retraced and some has refuse to grow, only PEPE and BONK are doing on and off and I'm not sure if that's because of some news or just market thing.

You know what I'm thinking right, we have each coin that represents an economy and meme coin is another thing own it own and there is going to be atleast top 3 coins that will represent meme market and they are Doge, BONK and PEPE but this is not a financial advice please.

Trading (Not crypto) / Re: Invesment in gold
« on: Today at 04:17:55 PM »
Gold never disappoints us. I mean, if you are a believer in long-term investment. Many people will suggest you buy some ETFs, S&P 500, and gold. Gold has been proofing over time. Even with the rise of Bitcoins, I believe it would still maintain its value and co-exist with bitcoins.

Corona virus made the stock market to collapsed and that made many of use know about some of this alternative to crypto, I never for once give interest in gold but the correlation of the market back then made me know Gold price and it was trading around $1800 when the market has recovered from the collapse. However, the price of Bitcoin is trading today $2230 in the market as in typing this while Bitcoin then was around below $15k but today it's trading above $60k, now do the math's, will buy gold or you will risk it all and buy Bitcoin? Bitcoin remain superior investment.

Meme Coins / Re: Does Good Luck Play a Role In Crypto?
« on: Today at 04:01:48 PM »
50% yes in my opinion, in crypto relying on luck when investing in new coins or memes, because if we have done research and it turns out it doesn't match our future thoughts it is very painful

If not all, most people that invest their money into meme coins are doing so with anticipation and having hope that in the future, things might change the coins they buy will turn good assets that everyone would want to buy, this is why they just buy small portions of them in many proportion in diversification and then hold it until when due for sale.

Even people that bought Doge back in the days never expected it to blow like the way it did, it was Elon Musk fueling that gave them such return and that was why we have plenty of these increase in number of coins today, and check them most are scams and pump-dump coins.

Technical analysis is important to execute trade. Professional traders analyse various graphs and charts before going for trade. One has to spend time to learn technical analysis and gather extensive knowledge about trading if he wants to earn money by trading.

You don't only gather knowledge, you need other things to survive in trading and one of it is experience. If you learn all you need about technicalities in trading but you don't have the experience, you will learn another thing instead of making money, the time you are supposed to use to make money, you will be using it to align your knowledge and experience together. It's better to learn it together in the process before starting with real money.

Binance Coin (BNB) / Re: BNB prices will go up
« on: Today at 03:51:39 PM »
You are right,  dude.
the government could buy bitcoin and try to manipulate the market, but why not do that, because the government is more focused on using funds for development. And the government understands that bitcoin is very volatile, it is very difficult to stabilize the price of bitcoin.

This statement is not entirely right. The government can buy Bitcoin but they don't have that time to waste tax resources to be chasing what then can't control, if they buy Bitcoin at lower price and used it to crash the market, they will only be giving Bitcoin to other buyers at discount and after few days again, the price will go back again.

I think there are Bitcoin that some country government are holding, like the US for example has some Bitcoin they have seized and they have not sold those Bitcoins, they are holding it and all now profitable.

8
The beauty of bitcoin is in the various opportunities found with it, people have realized some of these potentials and they found it being what they required with their finances to adopt bitcoin as an alternative to government controlled fiat currency, when you make bitcoin your investment currency, you're not going to lack or miss out on anything regarding it, because its all about being profitable.

The fact that you can own a Bitcoin without leaving the comfort of your home is what you can't get anywhere, not even with micro banks that offer virtual banking because you will have to provide KYC at some point which is invasion of privacy but Bitcoin gives you this and your seed phrase that nobody will ever know except your lord and personal savior. Bitcoin is also secure, you don't have to worry about network down turn, you don't have to worry about anything as long as you keep your private keys safe in a proper place.

Agree. It is better to use safe funds for crypto investment. It is not recommended to use loan money from banks for crypto investment. Crypto prices are very volatile and unstable, we can't expect to take profits any time we want. If we invest carelessly, we may end up with losses and may be trapped in the loan. This should never happen in crypto investment, the loan money must never be used for crypto investment.

What some people doesn't know is that loan has a time frame which it must be paid back, if you don't pay back, you either face problem of forcing to pay back or you continue to accrued interest rate until you finally paid back. Now imagine paying back after 2 years when your return on crypto investment is not more than 300% of your the loan you borrowed, by the time you do the math's and subtract the interest rate of 2 years from your profit, you wouldn't have anything left from your investment. Loan is a very bad practise for investments.

Manchester United letting Ten Hag go will be the best option for next season, but who will be a better option for that "for the right choice"? If we can remember Manchester United has had many changes in coaches since Sir Alex Ferguson left. And up to date, no better coach has been found, from the bad performance of a coach to the other

Did they have expectations from his post record, they only gave him a chance to demonstrate a good leadership which in my opinion I think he is nothing but a garbage full of nothing but a principle man that has nothing upstairs to give to the team and not just him alone, the players looks like a tired ones, they need to releave them of their duties and seek elsewhere.

When he was messing with Ronaldo last season, everyone thought Erik was performing his duty, he was harsh on Rashford and people didn't say anything, they waited many months later to realize that he has nothing to offer the team but principle without experience.

Economics , Sociology & Politics / Re: Cost of living

As you mentioned, war is a form of manipulation, perhaps this makes sense, when a lot of new technology is created and a country has an unlimited amount of wealth, it will have the potential to dominate the battlefield, but do we realize that this is a very selfish nature? What is the fate of those who are victims of war? Are people's lives determined by the greed of a country that likes war?

I seconded your opinion about war manipulation, it's nothing but a business for people that will not lose anything to make money. If you observe the war that has been happening since 2023 between countries like Russia, Ukraine, Hammas, Isreal, and Iran, if this war actually happen in 80s, the elites and friendly countries will be quick join the war but because there is a lot to lose when you engage in a war that is not yours, everyone just look while the top leaders call for peace. If a country made a decision to join a war, it is going to backfire one way or the other without anything profitable but loss and catastrophe.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Do not sell, Just HODL (v2)
« on: May 08, 2024, 06:12:15 PM »
I believe that many people get disappointed by the halving and might think this would be the worst halving history. But for me, we can't tell yet if this would be really the worst because we still in the bullish market. And what we see in the market now is just a retracement and the retracement was not yet finished. There is a lot of zone in the bottom where the price possibly go, not only the literal SNR but also the imbalances and swing points. I see a lot of imbalances below and it's not filled yet. There is a high chance that the price will hit that area before the price explodes.

Why the disappointment? Never in the history of Bitcoin had we had pump immediately when the halving occur, I have check the chart and it was a year later that we do have the bull run but somehow, a lot happened in this cycle that institutional investors are controlling the market, they don't want to see their investment go down and they are  holding it from collapse.

Another thing you should put into consideration is that there must be a correction else no one would be confident about the bull run and right now, the market is doing the opposite and if it remain like this, there is no certainty yet about bull run but in the future, something must happen.

Yea, it was a pain on majority of people, but some persons were still opportunist has they used the Covid 19 pandemic as a means to extort people of their resources. Some country government used the funds that was donated to the citizens as their own and did not give a dime to the citizens but instead they left the people to fend for themselves when no business or job was open. It was the worst experience that I have ever lived to witness.

Not just that, because pandemic made everyone to stay at home and many people became idle and internet was the only place they spent most of their times, so this factor increase scam in the sense that it increases online dating scams and all form of online scam investment that made a number of people to lose their money to fraudsters. So much things happen during that corona time that made a lot of people lose their money to internet scams, I don't want to see anything that will make the government lock down places again.

General Discussion / Re: Contentment
« on: May 08, 2024, 06:04:07 PM »
One of the greatest challenge of our human race is lack of contentment most especially in our youth. Trying to acquire more of anything is not bad if only u are using a resources or your resources as the case maybe to acquire what u want but when you want to acquire your desires but lack the resources to achieve the level of your desired outcome tends to lead to searching of other means possible beyond your capacity is purely lack of contentment. This resources can be monetary, power or orherwise. This has led to many of our youths doing things they ought not to do. Let's acquire what we want to acquire within the spheres of our capacity then we can grow it into a larger atmosphere.

I don't see anything bad when someone push for more success, there is no resting about success in life that's why even the rich men continue to struggle for more ways to get money, there is nothing wrong if you push for more too but where I called a stop is when you don't know when to stop in some juncture and you are determine to make it all cost, this is when you see people do desperate things to get some things.

It's because of desperate and peer pressures that makes us to do something that are not warrant today, we now have high number of scam and cyber crime all over the internet for desperation to make money.

Crypto Wallets / Re: Transferring coins between platforms/wallets
« on: May 07, 2024, 10:11:11 PM »
I've recently bought some MKR (MakerDAO's governance token) through Kraken. However, I can't connect Kraken to MakerDAO's voting platform. Can I transfer my MKR from Kraken to my MetaMask wallet without having to sell and rebuy? I bought the MKR at a higher price, so selling now would mean taking a loss. I'd love to participate in MakerDAO governance with the MKR I have. Any advice?

Metamask is a decentralized wallets that supports ethereum chain and since Maker Dao is also Ethereum chain by default, you can actually vote using Metamask as the person above have suggested with the official linl above.

Actually, this is even one of the right way to vote on Makerdao, Kraken is a centralized exchanges and because you don't have the private keys to your funds, you can't do anything with your wallet unless you make use of a personal wallet and Metamask is okay for the job.
