I love hearing about people's crypto journey, how it started and what interested them in the first place. Please share with me how you came to start, lots of things to learn.

Frankly, it was all the talk in the news. For a while there we all got saturated with talk about the rapid rally of the Bitcoin, so I decided I needed to learn more. I'm glad I decided to do that.

In real scenario the people's story of their crypto journey is not happily ever after. There were ups and down season.
Well, the down momentum wasn't pleasing to hear due to negative impact to our future crypto destiny. However it is good lesson to be learned in order to avoid the past mistakes.
The ups momentum is always attractive because by hearing the story we eagerly wanted to experience the same. In fact, the positive side made us to engage into crypto.
We have different reasons why we got interested but normally the positive attracted us much to be here knowing not good crypto as always. Shifting of momentum could happen any time so be ready to face the challenging part.

Lol...I got hooked on the hype too. I felt that it was new and a great opportunity to earn some money without stress but I have realized that it is not as projected.

Sincerly I started reading about cryptocurrency since my company announced to have started investing in blockchain projects. So, my curiosity pushed me into this community ;D

I read a book called The History of Money by Jack Weatherford and it got me interested in the subject of Gold (https://www.no links to other forums/gold-ira-rollover/) as one of the first forms of money. After reading the book, it also seems obvious that digital currencies are going to make the process of transacting (https://www.no links to other forums/useful-resources/) much easier for people to accomplish. Money in digital form only seems obvious within the evolution of money, and the Blockchain is inevitably the invention that will spearhead cryptocurrency as money.

2011 year. At that time I was already a businessman with an income of $ 10,000 and I was only 25 years old. I happened to meet a strange guy. He told me about bitcoin, about how this coin will grow in price. He wanted to sell me pseudo-money for $ 2,000. I told him to fuck off. And in December 2017, I very much regretted that act. In those 6 years, I changed business twice because of the recession. And cryptocurrency is taking over the world. I learned a very important lesson from that case - always say Yes to new opportunities. Doubts ruin the future!
Then I thought I was smart. And now I realize that in decision-making, it's more important to be quick than smart.

I was looking for a way to buy things online. I always felt left out since I could not buy anything online and my dad never let me use his credit card. When I found aout about bitcoin I was looking for ways to make an income online. I was happy since I found a way to be paid in currency and I could spend the currency on online purchases without banks and rubbish. Getting paypal to work here is a pain and the bank I use doesn't support it.

Crypto is not only the way to give you good profits. You can lose a lot when making a mistake. For me, thepossibility to use cryptocurrency anywhere is very important as I do travel a lot.

A friend actually gave me an insight of bitcoin/crypto currencies, and I had no much interest in going deep into it (as per making investment into), but I just kept on with the trend, as a form of making money online having fun/learning new things, not chatting with friends that yeild not, but whirling away time. Learning of new things/technology was what kept me in crypto for a long time now.

Probably your friend was right.Nowadays market trend is gameFi-play2earns. WonderHero is one of the most promising one actually,i wish you could do some profits from it too. I sold mines at 20x but im so sorry about to missing big fish again :)

It's good to see Lootex user here. Im using Lootex for almost months and have zero issue so far. I really like their simple design and easy to trade system. NFT's will be bigger in 2022 for sure and I believe Lootex will be a flagship.

Majority of people really desire to become the user of cryptocurrency because of its reliability and easy and fast transaction. Another thing is that it actually provides most of the people with good choice to make income. Its my own experience that at start there were lots of problems but as i understand about it then this understanding overcome these problems.

Simply by installing the wallets on our preferred devices and securing our private keys, we can carry our investments in our pocket without third parties or entities such as banks, who only know how to charge high commissions for very small profits. Aurory was a highly successful project on Solana. I think it's a project that will make more profit with the release of the game.

I have been working on blogs/websites for Google AdSense monetization.
Then get involved in real life business.
When COVID 19 pandemic hit and Lock Down (Stay at Home/Govt Orders ) issued in all over the world. And I was forced to sit at home free. I was to open my laptop and look for NEW POSSIBLE Ways to Make Money Online ... There I discover Crypto ... I was to place both my hands on head ... How I have missed the chance to dive into crypto in 2013... Those days I was to see so many advertisements of mining equipment and bitcoin but I was to ignore.
Now I start reading crypto as my favorite subject... All than first I found a Casino with Crypto Faucet xD 2 to 5 DOGE Faucet.. loll
I run it on Dice game and beside studying crypto I do gamble with those free coins. Then with passage of time I quickly start understanding value of Crypto. I started creating Exchange Accounts and buying crypto while managing online portfolio on CoinMarketCap with smaller amounts. Real shock which I was to miss was 50k DOGE I was to sell after a wait of 3 months and WHAT DOGE is going all time high. Still I was to think this will be back but no this keep going on .. So I missed almost a biggest chance.
I do strongly believe in Crypto and its bright future. As we the early adopters. If we learn to HODL in future will can see big multipliers to our digital assets.
Good Luck everyone. Stick with Legitimate projects. Invest smaller amounts if you have a little doubt on any new investment opportunity and don't keep adding more in that project if you run into losses on early investment.

The fact of money first attract me to come in crypto world . Because people said that it's easy to make money in crypto world , so I have thought why not makes some easy money ? At the moment I’m definitely still at the beginning of my journey with crypto I guess. Reading and watching and learning a lot. What initially drew me to the subject was a conversation I had with a friend who’s been investing since 2015 and was able to pay off all his student loans. But to be honest it wasn’t so much the thought of “easy money” that caught my interest, I guess I’m still a bit sceptical about that. It’s more the revolutionary concept of a decentralized currency and perhaps a more democratic world as a result, that made me want to know and understand the whole thing better.

It was back in mid-2017 where I see Bitcoin goes up to more than $10k and I started exploring it. Then, I started learning about the basics of cryptocurrency trading by only risking small amounts. I also got micro jobs where I get paid in BTC, but didn’t last long. Then I participated in airdrops and bounty programs, in which that turned my life around paying debts, giving back to my family, traveling around the world, etc. The rest is history!

That's true mate. So basically 2.5% of every purchase goes to help underprivileged children, feed rescued animals or plant trees.

I happened to meet a strange guy. He told me about bitcoin, about how this coin will grow in price. He wanted to sell me pseudo-money for $ 2,000. I told him to fuck off. And in December 2017, I very much regretted that act. In those 6 years, I changed business twice because of the recession. And cryptocurrency is taking over the world. I got introduced to crypto via a crypto called Electroneum which was looking to "enable the unbanked" by offering a mobile mining service which later became a kind of work to earn type thing. What intrigued me was the idea of breaking away from the traditional banking sector and that led me to explore more crypto from there. I ended up selling the ETN as I kind of lost faith in the project but it set the wheels in motion for me to explore what crypto can do. Ultimately I want to make money but I am fascinated by the technological implications of blockchain technology on the world.

Started trading forex, saw that they had crypto as well but I wasn't interested at first. After I got more experience, I started funding my account in BTC and then started slowing getting into it and investing in crypto through my broker and sometimes through my exchange. I still consider myself to be a fair beginner in crypto, so have some ways to go with my knowledge.

What you have said is one of the qualities of cryptocurrencies and the blockchain, but I would add some more important ones. I started using it in 2013 as a payment method.
As a product/service seller, I never liked the Paypal fee and their policies and was always curious to find out the alternative payment method.

Well mine was really nothing too special,
Few years ago, I was actually searching for an alternate source of income to support my job at that time, I had saved up some money and was looking for a safe way to invest he money to avoid wasting the money on irrelevances. So I asked a friend who knew a thing or two about online investment, so he recommended me to crypto investment, so that was how I got to know about crypto, I started learning and researching about it. And that was it, that was how my crypto journey started.

There are actually quite a few happy events for getting into cryptocurrencies depending on the event that a person gets into cryptocurrencies. I originally came to know about this forum a long time ago but joined here quite a while back after being inspired by a youtube video. Also, I used to do Bitcoin trading so I didn't come here much.

My crypto journey started when I was in college, in my second year a friend told me about this amazing investment opportunity that's he just recently started and I then he started pitching crypto to me, at first I didn't buy the idea because I didn't have good previous history with online businesses so I thought maybe this was just another Ponzi scheme.
Later on I started hearing about Bitcoin and other cryptos more often and it made start picking interest and started asking questions and making researchs, and that was it.

My journey into crypto has been somewhat of an exception, since I knew nothing about crypto and many of my friend circles involved. I'm learning a lot while being with them and then my friends have been the biggest help to come to crypto. I have always had help from them at any time in any emergency.
As far as I understand since coming to crypto here is the first thing I feel it is mandatory to acquire knowledge of. Because without knowledge, it is not possible to progress in any direction. So to say that people who are new to crypto like me must spend a lot of time in crypto and master everything. Then it can be said that you can do something good in crypto in life.

I have had some idea about crypto currency since long ago but I didn't come here with interest from anything specific to get into my crypto currency. I was mainly involved in buying and selling bitcoins online in the beginning but by the end of 2020 I was mainly trading through various exchanges for bitcoin trading. But the help of my friends played the most fruitful role in coming to this forum. Maybe I would not have spent my precious time on this forum if I didn't get the help and support of friends at that time. But even though I knew about Bitcoin long ago, I got the idea about Bitcoin trading from my close friends.

I had the notion that it was unsafe keeping all the coins in a single wallet,so I had to spread others like ripple, Litecoin and Tron. Sadly, I lost the phrases to my Tron and Litecoin wallet because it was written on same paper. It wasn't funny at that point. Thought I could recover it back, but there was no way.

Interesting mate, i can also relate that feeling when you did your first investment yah mind ain't calming down. Due to the fact that your funds might drop.

That one reason i'm always cautious when it comes to keeping seed phrese on papers. It might be save from hackers but not from physical damages. Like me now i now keep my phrase at different locations because I've experienced same shit before. But lucky me i was able to find mine.

If someone have been disappointed back then with using fiat, then they would have understand better the very need why they should embrace Bitcoin or cryptocurrency the very moment they were being introduced to it, for someone like me, am being motivated because of it's various opportunities it serves to the people, which is something completely different from the fiat currency we've been using for long, privacy, security trust and cheaper rates makes me developed my interest in cryptocurrency.

To be honest, the hoopla surrounding cryptocurrencies piqued my interest. I was already a hair vendor at the time, running my business successfully. It was actually scam that got be interested in cryptocurrency. I was scammed and I made a very huge amount of money through bitcoin and that was actually my first bitcoin transaction. After I discovered it was a scam and the money has gone, I decided to check my wallet again to understand how I was able to send the money. Someone actually directed me the first time. After some weeks I decided to learn and understand what was used to scam me. It was when I eventually joined the bitcointalk forum that I understood how everything played out.
It is this type of scenario that makes people to say that Bitcoin or cryptocurrency is a scam while in the real sense, they didn't invest in such coins, only that they were used as a means of payment.
