To mine Ethereum, i know that it is required to have an insight or knowledge into what mining entails and choosing and sourcing your equipment and then putting it together. Like with the specialized ASIC hardware, you need to get a specialized hardware known as the Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) in order to mine Ethereum.
What do you think are the other requirements?

I think it doesn't sound like an average person can participate easily in ether mining, there is some debate as to whether crypto currency is really decentralized, since it's people with lots of money who can afford large installations, just like regular business.
