The Hydro Ecosystem

The goal of the project is to create an ecosystem of power-ups that platforms can leverage, in order to easily integrate blockchain technology in ways that add value. The graphic below sets out our vision for Hydro:

Raindrop is an authentication protocol which vastly improves upon current 2FA standards with decentralized public blockchain security for logins, transactions, and payments.

Snowflake is an identity protocol designed to protect private data from identity theft on the blockchain by providing a major barrier to identity theft attempts.

Ice is a document signing and verification protocol which will allow users to stamp, authenticate, verify and seal any document or contract that is sent.

Tide is a payment protocol which will allow for one-click authorization of debit and credit POS transactions, as well as instantaneous p2p, p2b, and b2b payments across the blockchain.

Hail is tokenization on the blockchain. Under the hood it is a framework of Solidity Smart Contracts which work on top of the Hydro Snowflake protocol.

Hydro Community Development Program!

The HCDP is a core program to Project Hydro. It is a collection of paid developer bounties run by the Hydro Community to advance the ecosystem or its products. Any community member can post and create a task for others to fulfill. These tasks could be for an SDK or library, dApps (Solidity), tutorials, enhancements and more. Tasks get assigned a bounty total and are paid upon fulfilling the requirements.

And to view a list of tasks successfully completed as part of the HCDP by our growing developer community to advance the Hydro ecosystem. Foundation Update

We are at the last phase in setting up the foundation, We selected BVI(British Virgin Islands). The final required documents are in the process . As soon as it's done we'll pay the lawyers to incorporate the Foundation in BVI

Regarding the foundation and roadmap :
- Foundation : We are at the final phase of setting up foundation in BVI, the payment was done a few days ago and just waiting for the announcement from our lawyer.

- Roadmap, the only reason we're waiting for foundation because we added some things on the roadmap which we can't do until we're in BVI.(we can't even announce anything about it now, as we're contractors of Hydrogen at the moment)

The foundation on The British Virgin Islands is 99% done. just waiting for the documents process of authorities.

Here are some long overdue updates.

1. After weeks of waiting, our Hydro Foundation in British Virgin Island is officially incorporated.

2. Development Update: Our developers Srinivas & Njoku who were working on Hydro wallet with vault codes, successfully deployed the codes to rinkby testnet.

Additionally on the Wallet-Frontend side, they're almost done, we'll be releasing the teaser of our wallet next week.

We also onboarded Solidity developer, Ayushya Chitransh, with 3+ years of experience in Solidity, Ethereum private network, Rust & Auditing smart contracts.

Another updates from the Dev teams.

- AI Team for Mist: We added 2 new Machine Learning Developer's to our Hydro team, Naveen Gabriel a Master's Graduate in Statistics and Machine Learning from Linkoping University, Sweden & have 3+ yrs professional experience as a Build and Release Engineer with TCS, Bangalore.

Also, Matthew George, Master's Graduate in Statistics and Machine Learning program at Linkoping University, having a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication and having experience of 5 years in the IT industry as a Quality Assurance Engineer.

Research started on Mist protocol, we'll be updating the rough draft about Mist on GitHub in coming weeks.

We completed the development & testing of our first Voting dApp, some community members participated in this.

I liked this project and the Hydro token. Was a recipient of the airdrop. Wonder what really happened to it. I had great expectations for the token only for it to just dump terribly. Well, I hope they pick themselves up

A month of working hard and our Devs havent got a full sleep night. We have got some achievements

1. After series of testing, we successfully deployed the Snowflake store v2 on mainnet with 2 new dApps - Voteum and Donation .
The Snowflake Store is a marketplace for dApps ,  which was built on our very own Snowflake protocol. You can get more detail here (https://snowflakestore.org/)

3. Regarding our wallet,  Hydro team is working on web wallet, which will have staking enabled on it. The testing phase is not as easy as we thought, so we need some more time to finalize everything.

Hydro! Quite an interesting project. Good MVP but poor marketing and promotion. I was one of the earliest adopters of its technology, like Hydrogen and Snowflakes, but I really don't know why the token is not living up to expectations

In order to encourage the development of decentralized applications on Hydro ecosystem, we'll be giving grants to Bloceducare.

Bloceducare will develop a number of products/dApps on top of Hydro protocols.
"The products that Bloceducare will build ranges from social media, messaging, DeFi, open payments, e-commerce, authentication, to utilities"

Development services fall under two broad categories:

- Project development: includes tasks that will expand the Hydro technology internally (i.e., tasks which further develop the core Hydro code), or externally (i.e., tasks which extend or implement Hydro code).

Their goal is to provide a product for emerging countries, easy to use software, loyalty program & discount coupon.They will build a product on top of Hydro protocols that would be used in the medical sector and hence grant Hydro a real-life use case.

It's been a very busy year end for all Project Hydro team members and developers. The Hydro community has been asking for the Hydro wallet for some time and now we’re very happy to announce the release of Hydro Web Wallet- ÆGIR.

The ÆGIR Web Wallet (https://aegirwallet.org/) provides a convenient way to interact with all aspects of the Hydro ecosystem. To interact with Snowflake and the wallet you must install MetaMask and have a balance of Ethereum in it

Why named ÆGIR ?? that is the god of the sea in Norse mythology, also known as a king of all the oceans. Just like God of the sea is the most important part, governing the sea, we think that the Hydro wallet- ÆGIR will be the most important part of our Hydro ecosystem.

Baffles me how such a good, well preserved project like Hydro is languishing in mediocrity and poverty. I mean, when it came out with an MVP in 2019 it looked to be the best thing around, better than sliced bread. But look at it now

We are please to announce the new from our partner Bloceducare


After Bloceducare received the hydro grant, they have almost done with the Hydro migration to Binance, and confident to deliver this before 28th January together with the Crowdfunding contract on Binance.

Also, the hydro chess game development started on Friday with the document and specifications, this project will take Bloceducare till September to deliver the full game with DeFi addition however, the beta release will be in first week of April.

Bloceducare is going to be releasing bi-weekly update on development so that the community can follow up on progress.
Also while that is in development, Bloceducare is going to be working on "Hydro for social good", Detail will be released on this first week in February and will be delivering it by end of February.

In order to tackle the Ethereum high gas fee issue and find a better way for Project Hydro’s growth and adoption.
Hydro is going to be a multi-chain platform, and the whole Hydro ecosystem will be supported on different blockchains.

To become a multi-chain platform, we are considering the below Blockchains to start within 1st phase which will take 6 months to complete:

- Moonbeam (Polkadot Parachains)
- Plasm (Polkadot Parachains)
- Algorand

Hydro is a good project. I still believe the team has the nous and oomph to navigate the choppy crypto waters. I think the voting on circulating volume would take it back into reckoning. It even had 10% pump after that

- phase 1 ( 28 Feb) : personal wallets
- phase 2 ( 1 Mar) : coinex exchange ( also an even : Trading to share 40.000$ from 1 - 14 March)
- phase 3 (undefined) : the other exchanges

NOW, the snapshot for personal wallets is done, we are working on distribution.
No worry. you will not able to transfer the new Hydro to exchanges, as they havent support it yet. if you try to do, you will loose it.

- Binance Hackathon
We participated in Binance Africa Hackathon on 17th June 2021, and presented our products and services. Most of our developers prioritized their time on this workshop to prepare and make it successful.


- Hydro Swap
We are working on the next version update and the development is rapidly going on. We aim to use HydroSwap as the launching platform for Droplets as well as other things like NFTs & Gaming, you guys can expect more details in separate article when we will launch Version 2.0 of HydroSwap. Stay tuned for that.

- Aegir Wallet
We have ironed out most of the bugs. We received feedback about the issue while importing mnemonic seed from our community members, and it is now resolved. Implementation of the new design has been completed in all the screens, setting proper application name, modification in start screen, and color change in status bar.

- Remittance App
Remittance app development is ongoing… Re-enhancement of  the UI is complete. We are now working on connecting the new front-end to the backend. We also added a button for the Remittances on the home screen of the Aegir Wallet which includes screens like login/register, 2-Factor Authentication, and Send money, to give our community a teaser

- eMedchain
We are working tirelessly with the eMedchain team for integration and the release of their products. As of now, Snowflake and ICE integration has been done, we’re working on the final touch-ups of API for ICE. Almost all of the backend and frontend development has been done.

- Media Platform
Development of Media platform- Vitalium is in progress and ongoing at fast paced. We have installed and configured the Website.

- Hydro Lottery dApp
Bloceducare team is working on the Hydro Lottery dApp, and currently the architecture is being written to ensure optimization. They’ve chosen ERC-1155 tokens to be used in the Smart Contract, so that gas fee can be reduced

Introducing Keresverse Vouchers

Keres Vouchers is a BEP20 token that will be redeemable for Keresverse ERC-1155 NFTs. One Keres Voucher equals one 100% random Keresverse ERC-1155 NFT and when the NFTs are redeemed the Keres Voucher is burned because its only function has been served.

The Keres vouchers will be redeemable through a smart contract that will launch together with the Keresverse. When redeemed through this contract, each NFT is randomly generated which means that each Keres Voucher contains an NFT that can range from Weapons, Agents, and Gear in class and Xylium to Veintur in Tier.

Total Supply

Now let's talk supply, the supply of Keres Vouchers is based on the Keresverse NFTs supply - all the NFTs in the Weapons, Agents, and Gear classes ranging from the Xylium to Veintur Tiers.

Therefore, In total there are 402,992,200 Keresverse NFTs that are reserved for the community as staking rewards through the staking of Hydro on multiple platforms.

Out of that, we will distribute 50% (201,497,100) of the Keresverse NFTs using the Keres Voucher method on the HydroSwap v2.

This means that the total supply of Keres Vouchers (ticker: KVS) to be distributed is 201,497,100 KVS. The remaining 201,497,100 Keresverse NFTs (50% of the reserved amount) will be distributed through Hydro staking directly within Keresverse when the platform launches.
