Stellar and Ripple are two altcoins that have been on the cryptocurrency scene for over six years. Both coins saw strong rallies in the late-2017 boom that saw Bitcoin hitting the $20,000 level. However this year has already seen BTC trading above $40,000, yet gains in the altcoins have been harder to come by.

When deciding on whether to choose Ripple or Stellar, we have to consider their potential for gaining the most users. Ripple’s XRP coin was a favourite investment for many who fantasised about altcoin riches, and the coin had a very passionate community supporting it. XRP was designed as a cross-border currency with low transaction fees and fast execution. For this reason, many saw it as an alternative to the traditional financial system, where international money transfers were costly and could take days, where XRP transactions could be settled in less than five seconds.
Stellar’s project is similar to Ripple’s but has expanded into a wider range of products. The project offers global payment apps that leverage the currency-backed tokens that already exist on the Stellar network. Alongside this, there is a built-in decentralised exchange, which allows users to swap crypto, forex, or other securities. Finally, Stellar has built a micropayments service, which could be used for tipping or subscriptions. I will choose Stellar because I also believe that Stellar is sure to become a super coin in the future and has a marketcap that will be very large when compared to Ripple coins.
Even though Ripple is in the top 10 and Stellar is below it, I believe and hope that Stellar will become something very valuable in the future.

Stellar is a good project in which it is worth investing your money in such a short time, to grow in price so quickly shows that the project is striving and developing. Regarding XRP, he has been on the cryptocurrency market for a long time and he had incidents with investors about price manipulation.

I tend to choose Stellar over XRP, even though the price and market cap is still far below XRP but I have confidence that Stellar will be able to catch up. The stellar and XRP processes are not much different from the classic ethereum and ethereum at the beginning of their emergence.
This year I will prefer to hold stellar, a lot of new and good projects are running on the stellar platform and this is a positive thing for stellar.

If you see the rank, ripple is better.
But I think You should see the projects, stellar is smart contract platform, I think It's more potential than ripple.
Ripple is just bank coin, has been supported by banks.

These two coins cannot be crossed like this because the Ripple and Stellar coins are legendary coins that have been circulating in the cryptocurrency market and it would be nice to have both.
Don't let us not have these two coins because this coin is really an extraordinary project in the future, look at the road map which always surprises us in the form of surprised money.

Ripple and stellar have own community, and can't be crossed.
Ripple is bank coin and good for short term investment.
Stellar or XLM will have bright future, I think It's good for hold.
I have invested in both and enjoy them

Already long time both cryptocurrencies are showing excellent results both in development and in reaching new heights on the cryptocurrency market, I also don’t think that it is worth choosing between these two cryptocurrencies, since these two cryptocurrencies have been very popular already long time and most importantly, a huge amount of money from big players is constantly being invested in both of these cryptocurrencies, and therefore it would be wiser to invest in both cryptocurrencies.

If our goal is Investment, then we better choose both. Stellar lumens and Ripple are currently both experiencing an increase in popularity because both platforms are currently holding Airdrops on each platform, in which in the Airdrop we have to buy the coins if we want to participate. Of course this will make both coins will experience an increase in price. And if we look at the advantages of the Stellar and Ripple Blockchain, I think the two are balanced.
