Title: Iran Changed its Stance on Cryptocurrency Mining and Began Hunting Miners
Post by: Rockalo on June 24, 2021, 07:59:55 PM
Iran has long been known as a crypto-friendly nation, but in the recent past it has changed its view towards this emerging industry. Currently, authorities in Iran are in the process of arresting bitcoin and cryptocurrency miners on a large scale. The move is a threat to the entire cryptocurrency industry as it cripples its planned growth.

According to the report by marketsandmarkets, the crypto asset market size was projected to grow from $1.6 billion in 2021 to $2.2 billion in 2026, at a CAGR of around 7.1 percent. The rise in venture capital investment is the main factor driving the growth and development of the digital currency market. However, the harsh measures against mining and trading activities will not make this dream come true. More information: please click here (https://coinidol.com/iran-cryptocurrency-mining/)

The Iranian authorities say that many miners consume electricity uncontrollably and therefore harm the state. Therefore, there is a critical situation with energy consumption in the country. It is clear that with such a position, the Iranian government should take certain steps to restore order in this area. It is difficult to argue with anything here. But we know from the example of China that the prohibition of bitcoin mining in one country leads to its increase in another. Therefore, you should not worry too much.
