A lot of blockchains are introduced recently like the one you have mentioned and also the QI Blockchain, which claims that it is faster then BTC-Blockchain. But the reality is the stability if they did not stable the Blockchain and maintain its security, then they would just waste their and also the investor's money.

I agree with you securing the network is more important than developing a new network As we know BTC is a most secure using SHA256 algo which is challenging for hackers from 2009 and its make our trust , But as we know in this time many decentralized network introducing day by day buy we dont know the drawbacks and how much they secure.
