I think it will all be in vain if there are lessons, most likely lessons about gambling problems will make young people more curious and find out how to play and everything related to gambling, without them being given education they will also know how to play and of course they will know the risks if they lose, when they first lose,
Would you rather let them go figure it out themselves?
If gambling is legal and common in a society, whether you teach children or not, they'll still habe the urge to be part of it and find out what it's all about.
In a situation like that, do you still think it'll be a waste of time to properly educate children in school and warn them about the dangers of gambling and possible ways to avoid the dangers and how to live a healthy gambling lifestyle?

Gambling discussion / Re: How did the gambling life Start?
« on: May 15, 2024, 02:42:57 PM »
My gambling life is too short. Some days ago i started gambling. I am mainly cricket lover. One day i saw my family betting on cricket ipl. I saw he is playing through 1xbet app. And i tell him to open an account for me. And he creat a account for me and from then i am betting regularly.
Now some times i paly casino. Most of time i loss but some times i win.
The earliest days of a gambler can be really interesting and thrilling, until you start experiencing severe losses. That's why you should always be cautious when you gamble and learn how to manage and be in control of your emotions too. From what you said, you started gambling because of your love for the game and the fun you derived from it, I'll advice you to always keep it that way, focus more on the fun and thrill you derive from your favourite games and not how much you stand to gain from the bets, and whenever you lose a bet, just picture it as normal and always avoid chasing losses if you want to maintain a healthy gambler lifestyle.

Gambling discussion / Re: What inspired you to gamble?
« on: May 15, 2024, 02:37:35 PM »
Gambling is a fun. It is a sort of entertainment and a good way to pass your free time. I enjoy gambling in my free time. By the way didn't get inspired by anything. Just watched a few online ads and started gambling.

We are bound to lose some money if our mindset on gambling is just for fun because we are going to lose focus on what we are doing, i mean if you are gambling, we should be attentive on it so that we have the chance on winning, just my thought.
It's true that we have to make an effort to try to win at gambling, but we have to know that not everyone can make a lot of money at gambling, losing money is common. If we have a chance to win then try, we will never know as long as we never trying to place a bet.
Rightly said.
The chances of losing in gambling is way higher than that of winning, and this is the more reason people shouldn't be more focused on winning because this is what often causes people to start chasing after winnings and losses and then leads to addiction.
People should always realise that the odds are always against the players and I'm favour of the house so expecting to win all the time would only lead to more disaster.

Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling for All?
« on: May 15, 2024, 02:24:08 PM »
I do not consider myself an expert in poker, I know that there are people who have a gift for this, but personally I am not a guru, but I have read many strategies, especially what is on pokerstars.net, There are many guides on how to play, it's actually something that I really like about that platform , in fact I haven't played there for years, since everything related to crypto came out because things have been different, I have dedicated myself more to the games of crypto casino than the fiat ones, and more in pokerstar because there in my case it works with paypal and that is something that seems to me to have a lot of fee to pay.
So what you're saying is that crypto casinos are a lot more better than the fiat ones?
I'd really love to hear your reasons to why you believe so and what kind of games asides poker do you mostly play, because for me whether crypto or fiat casinos, as long as the odds are cool and mouthwatering, then I'm good to go, well of course it has to be a reputable one with nice reviews too.

Gambling discussion / Re: Is it right for a lady to gamble ?
« on: May 15, 2024, 02:18:27 PM »
Women are soft minded. And gambling is very risky and when anyone loss in gambling then some times he/she will be mentality chocked. And it will be import on his soft mind. So i think in gambling for lady gambler not suitable. Family maintenance and children care and hassle free job is perfect for a lady. But i Don't doing underestimated any lady. But whixh is suitable foe lady i am telling that.
It might interest you to know that most ladies are mentally and psychologically fit than men, and they can easily adapt to situations too. And when it comes to managing losses and emotions, women can control manage their emotions a lot more than men. Men are known for their physical strength while women on the other hand are known for their psychological and mental strength and like we already know, gambling isn't about physical strength but more of psychological and mental strength so I think you should make another assessment before you conclude that women are not fit to gamble.

Yeah exactly. Poor people do gambling more than rich people though there are gambling addicts that were from rich family as well but there were only few of them because majority comes from poor people and one more thing money is not a problem for most rich gamblers since they do have stable source. Based on my observation here in my place that is what the reality is. Regardless of financial status both can gamble even after a huge win.
While it's true that money is not a problem for rich gamblers, you should also remember that there is no limit to how much a man can lose in gambling if he doesn't control his emotions, and considering the fact that rich people has lots of money, then that means they have even more to lose than the poor because they have a steady flow of income, that's why it's possible for gambling to cripple even a rich man financially.
Even if a rich person has a lot of money, his money is not infinite at all, that is, at some point, his money may run out. Since money can run out, it doesn't take long for a rich person to become poor. If Rich Duari thinks that he has enough money and that gambling and losing money won't have a bad financial impact on his life, then I think he's wrong. If he is constantly losing money by gambling, then at some point he will surely run out of money and then he will realize that he must have had the wrong idea.
Most definitely.
There's no limit to how much a person can lose in gambling, no matter how much a rich man has, if he chooses to gamble out of control then he is surely paving his way to poverty because he'll surely lose all his wealth if he doesn't stop and retrace his steps.
That's why I always say that a rich man who is addicted or struggling with addiction has even more to lose than a poor addicted gambler, because the worse that can happen to a poor gambler is to remain poor but that's not the case with rich gamblers.

Gamble is very risky, and comes with more of losses than profits. This is the reason why a gambler will experience more of loss than wins. In my entire gambling experience, I have lost more than what I win. The lost is like 4 times my win, and there is nothing I can do about it, because there will always be a time that you will realize that gambling is eating you up and you will start limiting the amount and time that you put into gambling.
That's very true and that's more reason why a gambler shouldn't really be focusing on whether he's making more losses or winnings. Ordinarily, gambling shouldn't be all about the wins or the outcome of every game, as long as you're having fun at the end of the day, which should be the goal, gambling should be all about the fun and thrill, and not to be accessed by how often one wins or loses.
Well except of course the gambler in question is struggling with gambling problems and then notices that he loses all the time, then he can make an assessment to know the outcome of his gambling activities in order to help him restructure his strategy and approach to avoid more losses

Gambling discussion / Re: Do you tell your husband you gamble?
« on: May 15, 2024, 01:42:14 PM »
This will also have a good impact when we are open with our partners, so there are people who will always remind us when we start not being good at gambling, I mean we are leading to a bad addiction. By being open with your partner, there is control that they can exert without us having to tell them.

This is something important, because maybe if it were our partner, we would be more accepting of what they say, because we know that a household contains two people who must understand each other. When they start reminding us, it means there is something wrong with us.
Yes that's one of the advantages of being open with our gambling life to our partners, because at some point in a gambler's life, he'll need someone to help call him back or regulate him whenever he's gradually gambling out of control or going out of line and this is the point where our loved ones or partners comes in.
If you feel like you always encounter some gambling problems along the line then always confiding in your partner can be really helpful because when you have someone to always keep an eye on you, it'll be easier for you to be called to order whenever that happens.

The main problem is the way of looking at the study, which can provide the main factor for it could get out of control.
For those who have enough finances, they gamble to relieve fatigue as mere entertainment, so they can gauge when to stop and also, basically, they know they won't get rich from gambling. But if you have no finances and consider gambling to seek wealth, then you will be trapped in that, Because gambling will not make anyone rich, because they will definitely experience defeat in time.
Perspective and view point is key, how people view gambling determines their reaction and actions towards it. Just as you've said, since the rich are already rich and do not consider or expect to get rich to get rich via gambling, it's a lot more easier for them to play with a levelled head without placing all their hopes on gambling to render financial assistance to them, so whether they win or lose doesn't really matter, and this is exactly how people should consider gambling.

But of course we already know this isn't the case of gambling with poor gamblers who take all their life problems and place it on the outcome of a bet, so when things fails to go according to their predictions or speculation, they start misbehaving and allow their emotions get the best of them.

I don't know how many times a day I watch the market, there might be no purpose but after every now and then I reach out to my pocket, take out my mobile, and check the market only to stay updated about the prices because I like doing that, no obligations but still.
Same for me, I am also not counting how many times I commonly check market every day. because it's often enough. Somehow it has become a habit that when holding a cellphone after stopping for a moment, the thing to do is open Whatsapp and then open the market.

but yes, it's just a matter of checking the ups and downs, what coins are up and what coins are down. as well as checking our portfolio, or other things. And sometimes it doesn't have to be like that. What is certain is, if we do not feel objections and do not influence our emotional stability in our decisions, there is no problem. Unless we panic easily, this might be a little confusing. back to each individual.
Trust me I totally understand what that feels like, because cultivating and getting addicted to the habit of regularly checking the market is very very easy, especially when it's just too accessible. Sometimes you don't even know how and when you just manage to swing by, just like a reflex action where you just see your thumb always wanting to go there, even when you don't want to.

You're right that one needs to be very careful when checking the market because at that point, you could see something that'll motivate you or stir up your emotions into moving fast to take drastic actions or decisions that could affect your work.

Basic Questions about Cryptos / Re: Are Bitcoins a good investment?
« on: May 14, 2024, 10:54:55 PM »
Yes obviously Bitcoin is best for investment. Bitcoin is father of all coin i think. Bitcoin is oldest coin in the cryptocurrency market. And it’s position 1st on cryptocurrency market. And it’s marketcap and transection volume is huge no any competitor for Bitcoin till now. If anyone invest on Bitcoin he will be must benefited there has no doubt. Today or tomorrow Bitcoin will give profit i strongly believe it and till now it happened.
Most definitely.
Bitcoin has so far proven to be the safest asset to invest in. Unlike every other crypto assets, bitcoin has been around the longest and is still breaking limits. Longevity is one of the qualities of a good crypto asset worth investing in and bitcoin has it, because it's the longest and most widely adopted cryptocurrency and more people are still adopting.

Although Bitcoin is a long-term investment and should be considered for its long-term potentials, if anyone wishes to really get the best out of Bitcoin, then one should avoid attempting to predict the market and just HODL for the long-term.

Bitcoin can indeed experience some dip sometimes but we must always remember that bitcoin always have the ability to recover from every temporary market fluctuations and set new ATH giving investors who HODL amazing profits.

12
Yes it could be happen, Because everything is possible in cryptocurrency market. If Bitcoin move again previous circle i will not be surprised. So everyone should be careful about his investment. But i think after some down bitcoin will pump and it will hit new ATH and soon we will see Bitcoin price touch $100k. And i am waiting for that.

But i am telling again everything is possible in cryptocurrency market. So we should careful and we have to invest and trade carefully.
Most definitely,  this is only a recuperation period for BTC, and after the recuperation period is over, there'll be another Bull run, following the effect of the just concluded halving.
I know that a lot of investors have already lost hope in bitcoin, following the unending bearish trend that has just hit the market because they were expecting the market to be on a steady green after the halving, but they fail to realize that even in the previous cycles, it took quite some time before market entered a bull run after the halving.

Although I don't know for sure if the next bull run would send bitcoin to 100k, but there's been lots of speculations and like you said, the crypto market is so unpredictable and volatile, so it'll be impossible to predict exactly what would will happen in the future, but it'll indeed be a good thimg for investors if bitcoin could set such a historical standard.

Basic Questions about Cryptos / Re: BENEFITS OF CRYPTOCURRENCY?
« on: May 14, 2024, 10:37:08 PM »
Cryptocurrency investment is not too easy, it is veey risky and unpredictable. But it also has some good things. Many people become self sufficient from cryptocurrency. Even huge people has been economically established from cryptocurrency. So i think cryptocurrency has huge benefitesd for is.
That's right, the emergence of cryptocurrency has indeed opened our eyes to so many possibilities and opportunities, now there are many ways people can earn via cryptocurrency at the comfort of their homes.
Especially in countries that lacks sufficient job opportunities for its residents, people can no longer depend on the government to provide jobs for them, instead they'll turn to cryptocurrency opportunities and make a healthy living from it without having to get themselves in anything illegal before they can make a living.

yeah you right we should focus on quality of what we write , because alot of users here are just posting anyhow expecially those that are new here , fir the purpose to increase their activity inorder to rankup fast , which is not appropriate at all.
I believe there are moderators saddled with that responsibility of getting rid of shit posts and making sure that shit posters are appropriately punished or warned to ensure it doesn't repeat again, and I think they're doing a great job because even if the forum isn't completely purged of shit posts and posters, at least they have flushed out majority of them and they are still working tirelessly to ensure the total eradication of shit posts.

I can say for sure that the forum a lot more better than it used to be and in time to come other actions would still be carried out and this menace would be tackled for good.

The bigger risk associated with exchange or any centralized party is stuff like bankruptcy, or terrible security practices where they got hacked and lost a lot of money, etc. Not to mention some 2FA or KYC processes can get hacked too, depending on which exchange you use. So this KYC process doesn't say much.
You forgot to mention risk of jeopardizing of user's privacy and identity, which is one of the most common risks attached with using Centralized Exchanges.
You can't boast of absolute anonymity because your personal data are being stored on the exchange's database and hence could be easily assessed by the government or authorities, which stands against what crypto really stands for, decentralization.
