Reputation, Scams & Phishing / The Final Email From A Scam Crypto Website
« on: October 31, 2023, 12:24:14 AM »
I was new to Cryptocurrency, so I watched YouTube channels about it. I was impressed with Eddie Moon so I joined his Patreon and Discord. Eddie Moon convinced me to deposit money into www.webulltradingbot.com, so I did. When I try to withdraw money the site wants me to deposit $15,000 more into it before I withdraw anything.

I told Eddie Moon this but he doesn't respond. I reported him to YouTube and the authorities but nothing has happened.

This is the last email www.webulltradingbot.com sent me:

I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to bring to your attention an important matter regarding your trading account. We kindly request that you pay $15,250 as the trading bot fee before your withdrawal can be processed. To facilitate the payment, we provide two convenient options for you. You can either make the payment to our BTC wallet address: bc1qqppvv00mhjfsg39nnqd2elwxcl3j6krkzvwnml or to our ETH wallet address: 0x8fe25b2F9B6

I'm A Newbie: How To Tell If I'm Being Scammed.
ADVICE
I joined a popular professional crypto YouTube channel and began one-on-one mentoring through Discord.

He trades on webulltradingbot.com, and he wants me to join that site so he can guide me.

In my research, webulltradingbot.com seems legit. But it's been operating for just one year.

I told him this and he claims this site offers unique opportunities that other sites don't. I open an account and do a wire transfer of $10,000 to it. It's Chase Bank in Ohio.

Now he is pressuring me to put more money into the account so I can make more money.

There is another site called webull.com and I mistakenly sent them an email asking a question. They replied back and said they are not webulltradingbot.com. They claim that webulltradingbot.com is a fake site.

I told my Mentor this and he said it's a legit site.

Why is he pressuring me to add more funds? Wouldn't a professional crypto trader be trading on a more popular site, such as Coinbase?
Am I being paranoid thinking that he created webulltradingbot.com and is now a rogue YouTuber trying to scam people out of their money?

I met a young beautiful woman on a dating site (online only - NO VIDEO CHAT). In her pictures, she looks like a model.
I live in California and she lives in New York
She belongs to a professional Crypto group. They only accept multi-millionaires into their group. The reason she belongs to it is because her Uncle runs it.
This professional group charges her 10% of her wins.
They text her about 4 - 5 trades a week and they always work. She texted me the trade so I can see they work. In real-time. In my Coinbase account, I watch it.
She will teach me how to do it for free.
However, she is not familiar with Coinbase, where I created a new account.
She wants me to transfer $2,000 to a site similar to Coinbase, where she knows how to operate it.
BitContractPro

She has $100,000 in her account. She averages $10,000 a month.
I'm confused. Why would a "model" be helping me out, an ordinary guy?
And she is doing it for free. If it's a scam, I don't see it.

COINBASE                                                     FOREX
I Buy Bitcoin at Market, $20 USD                     I Buy a pair at Market, $20 USD
The order is immediately filled                         The order immediately goes through
The order is now closed.                                  The order is still ongoing
I either won or lost $20                                    I can get out of the order when I want to. If the price keeps going up I can get out at the higher price.

Can I place a trade with Bitcoin with the same dynamics as Forex?
For example, I Buy Bitcoin at Market and I wait until the price goes the highest I think it will. I then get out.
