It is going to be harder as more exchanges are being released this year. Seems like at least one every month trying to fight for less and less customers. Hopefully there will be less hacks after the cryptopia loss

Although this is a little far fetched it is not an impossible future. If money is replaced with crypto coins and everything is tokenised then it can certainly happen. Just imagine what one bitcoin will be worth!

Tax payers bailing out the banks is the main reason why bitcoin was created. The government should not use it as an excuse, crypto doesn't need them to bail it out, quite the opposite with America's multi trillion dollar debt

Most people like to purchase things with their cards as it is easier than doing bank transfers. Sadly for these guys they are too late as binance are now offering credit card purchases so everyone will use them instead

Volatility is a major problem for retailers, but they can always transfer it to stable coins or keep it for speculative gains. Conversion to fiat is another major barrier, coinbase fees are really high!

Millenials don't have enough money to make any impact unless they all jump into the game at the same time. We need to wait until they finish their studies and start to earn money. This will be the same time as the bitcoin halving - a double pump!

If using hot wallets it needs to be spread out between multiple exchanges incase one gets compromised. Imagine if you had put everything into cryptopia that just got hacked for 16 million dollars!

One of the biggest things to check is whether the team is real. Ideally there will be videos of them at conferences giving presentations to a large audience. This gives it a better chance of it being real and not some fake ICO

It could be possible that demand for ripple will drive the market as it breaks away from ethereum leaving it in a solid third place. Good to have alternatives incase investors are put off by bitcoin

I guess it makes sense to try and introduce or expand crypto in italy. Their economy is pants so the wealthy italians will want to switch to bitcoins, especially the mafia although they'd probably prefer monero instead

It would be useful to see an article with the differences between ethereum, eos, and cardano. Litecoin is not in the same category as ethereum, i'd compare it to something like bitcoincash which also does nothing.

Basically there are too many currencies out there and so it was good that 2018 saw many of the shitcoins fold and get terminated from the markets. Too much dilution is bad for bitcoin
