Full decentralization is one of the most important principles of the crypto world

The first such system is the Bitcoin network, launched on January 3, 2009 by Satoshi Nakamoto. Pavel had to close TON in May 2020 due to problems with regulators. But the caring community of developers, validators and crypto enthusiasts did not stand aside and at the same time launches Free TON. An ambitious project to build a decentralized network on a planetary scale for the benefit of millions of people.

It is a collection of familiar components into an unusual idea.

They announced the creation of a voting system that will allow little-known performers to gain popularity thanks to blockchain technology and receive financial support.

The voting system will be fully implemented on the Free TON blockchain. The TON Surf wallet is automatically created upon registration. The user sees the instructions for voting and along with it detailed information about Free TON.

Dear Developers! Attention! This update is important!

We kindly ask you to update all your applications, scripts etc. to use the list of Free TON or Devnet endpoints, present in this document - https://docs.ton.dev/86757ecb2/p/85c869-networks

Please, make sure you specify all the endpoints in your application, not a single one. This is needed because periodically some of the endpoints will be closed for maintenance without any announcements. SDK provides balancing between endpoints so the applications that use SDK, given they specify the list of endpoints, will not be affected by maintenance of particular endpoints

Support of main.ton.dev and net.ton.dev endpoints will be stopped by July 12 2021
