What's your take on IDO's and ICO's
« on: September 24, 2021, 09:08:44 PM »
Initial Coin offerings ICOs and it's DEX counterpart (IDOs) are prelaunch activities particularly driven to raise fund for projects in thier early stages. I believe the new generation of launchpads out there are doing a pretty good job in promoting ICOs, IDOs and related As most of them are user friendly.

Yeah a number of launchpads out there are doing really great job promoting projects and giving them a platform to grow from.... one in particular is Polygen. A decentralized launchpad which accept all projects and provides them a platform with equal chances of getting funded by prospective investors hence creating a common ground for healthy competition

For sure ICOs has been a major source of fundraising  for projects in thier early stages as investors get to buy  very early into the project before listing. This however I believe should be done in a decentralized manner to promote transparency and trust between investors and token creators

After couple hours of research I found out you're actually right about Polygen. They sure are unique in the delivery of thier services quite an impressive project imo
I'm fascinated mostly by the Fair access and opportunities provided by this platform... Quite helpful for project and token creators

Of course, practically all launchpads are centralized hence they tend to protect the launchpad's Interest sometimes at the expense of project's Polygen entirely changes the ball game of ICOs by decentralizing the whole model. Which I think is Extremely helpful particularly for token creators

Haha helpful is an understatement, token creators face a lot of problems with launchpads shortcomings this is because most launchpads manually process the entire fundraising procedure hence exposed to risks of commiting mistakes.  I would know cos i once worked on a project with some business partners earlier this year.

Experience speaks volume! Like I aforementioned... Polygen entirely changes the ICO game removing the risks of running into errors or mistakes by eliminating human involvement in the process of fundraising and schedules. It just means the process is automated and Decentralized. In a way it builds investors confidence and trust you should check it out for your next project

Oh wow , since the entire process is automated it shifts the responsibility and pressure from off the team and gives more time to focus on post launch activities. Quite helpful I must say, I'll definitely check it out. Thanks for sharing mate

There is one universal truth in the crypto space - whoever gets in early, wins! I believe ICOs and IDOs gives investors the oppurtunity to get in very early into projects. Prefferably using launchpads supported by diverse ecoystem

yeah i kind of already did cos it was discussed above and i'm really impressed with the project. Polygen is literarily bringing solutions to every problem faced by most token creator in the crypto space. it's quite a relieve to know there are projects out there that actually follows up on the decentralized model of cryptocurrrency envisioned  by satosohi nakamora

for sure, token creators face quite an ordeal raising funds for projects most of which is due to the centralization of launchpads. launchpads tend to cherrypick projects based on requirements of the launchpad which might stifle project growth in the long run

This is true, projects have to accomodate launchpads requirements even if it might not augur well with the team or the project's dispensations. it's a good thing Polygen accept all projects and really, all project can be potentially funded and the best which is unanimously funded by investors gets to the top

yeah and that gives room for healthy competition among creators which i think in a way brings out the potential in every project knowing investors will only invest into the best project ..token creators will be motivated to give out the best they can in order to win investor's attention
