The CEO of the world’s largest movie exhibition company, AMC Entertainment, says that his company is “on track” to accept four cryptocurrencies by year-end. Dogecoin (DOGE) is expected to be added in the first quarter of next year, and the company is currently figuring out how to take shiba inu (SHIB) as a currency. See more for yourself here.

This is a good move from AMC Entertainment just as the movie industry is expecting a steady return to normalcy coming from fighting the pandemic. There is still a good market for movie going as the experience is really different compared to watching movies online. I am hoping that more entertainment related businesses will consider accepting cryptocurrencies into their operation...this move can be good for the press and can be a a magnet for more market share, am sure.
