Joining bounty isn't a bad way to get altcoins, but I think buying on exchanges is still better (if you have funds). There are many altcoins not really good in quality promoted through bounties. Or many of them are still not really potential for the future. But if you buy in exchanges, you have many options.

I think you're probably right that it's not best suited for altcoins section. Possibly better placed in beginners maybe? But also, not quite a beginners topic either. Unfortunately, there isn't really a bounty discussion board as there are few threads like this of their kind, so they will always be a bit out of place wherever they are.

Despite being two years old, the original topic does still appear relevant - the best way to make money on here is still from bounty campaigns.

The forum was primarily created as a place where crypto enthusiasts can share their opinions and discuss projects, coins, etc. For me, information I get here is a more valuable resource, and bounty campaigns are a nice bonus.

I think the major factor that determines individual earning is the total pool and number of participants in a specific campaign.  But the major challenge in bounty for hunters is the ability to recognize a scam bounty and real bounty.  Even bounty managers find it difficult to differentiate
