The tips that you provide are very good, and are useful for beginners who have just joined crypto currency. Everyone certainly hopes, the coins they have will get a good security system. So we will avoid hacking that often happens lately.

I was faced some problems before.
1. I used the same password for all sites. Then the scammers got it and tried to access my gmail , airdrop, and exchanger account, really bad. I changed the password immediately, different password each site.
2. I was stored lots of my data (password, 2fa, private keys, etc) on my phone. Forgot to written it down offline. Then my phone was accidentally hard restarted.

By the way, experience is the best teacher

I've been searching today for security tips and solutions to problems, that especially beginners might have - so thank you for this topic! :) I think when you are new to crypto you might underestimate the importance and the risks regarding security... a friend of mine was hacked once and when he heard that I'm now also into crypto he warned me... very important is of course not to use same passwords... well and other things you summed up quite well here... :)

I think at the end of the day, it is still your own responsibility to secure your crypto wallets. Do really get hardware crypto wallets as they are currently the safest to protect your fund.

I want to add to the 2FA security... Do not use Google Authenticator, if you lose your phone, it would be hard to recover, instead use Authy 2FA because even if you lose your device, with your number or email, you can easily recover everything and your accounts would be intact.

Incredible tips for secret phrase I utilize a scrambled document with an extremely solid secret key (it takes me over 1 moment to compose it!) I realize it's smarter to have composed on paper yet in the event that I need to login in versatility else I can't login.

No matter how hard we try to secure our wallets, there is still a risk that your wallet is hacked, so all operations must be done anonymously and as carefully as possible.
