I now doubt that altcoins will repeat the success of 2017. There used to be a lot of noise and a different situation in the market.Even Scam projects that did not have a working product grew.Now will be able to update their highs only really strong projects with a strong team that is constantly working on improvements in spite of the market situation.

I believe the OP was also referring to the legit projects and not the scams.
There was so much hype in 2017 that even a whitepaper release would cause a pump lol.

I believe Alts will return to its peak in 2020. I hope this will come true. I'm sure Alts will increase rapidly, something will happen again like last 2017.

I think that 2019 will be a good year but it will be different compared to 2017... 2017 was the year of ICO while I think that 2020 will be the year of big coins like Bitcoin Ripple and Ethereum...unfortunately I don't believe in ICO market rise again.

There is another reason, that we will see a new high. Legislation. Slowly and steadily, more and more governments make crypto friendly regulations. This means. more users and demand.
