Would they limit the internet to take down cryptos?

You can limit anything, but it is almost impossible to destroy cryptography. In some countries, this is prohibited, while in others, on the contrary, it becomes a priority for saving the country's economy. Everyone has different priorities and methods for achieving certain goals.

@Galley you are right, in some countries it is totally or partially prohibited, but we can continue to work with cryptocurrencies even with those limitations. No matter how much effort and resources governments use, they can never 100% ban anything that works over networks, and they know it, as always, trying to scare the masses with bans, but that's just a sign of their weakness.

The future of cryptocurrency, is regulation. States, see that crypto, is a HUGE market. They will prefer to collect taxes, instead of banning.

dont think that will be possible as of now, as everything is digitalize, so doing that will affect many things in the economy apart from cryptocurrency self, it will be wrong decision for them.

Internet restrictions in case of cryptocurrency are useless.  Programmers will always find a way to get around various restrictions.  It is the truth of life

The government and every country can do that, but I don't think they will limit internet access as a whole, we can still use Vpn if the government does IP address blocking, but if internet access is blocked, like there is no electricity supply, then it is. won't happen, because every country needs that access

There's always a way to do that, because it's also happening in my country they restrict binance sites so we can't trade there. But, we have a way to go. We installed a VPN on each of our devices so we could visit binance and it allowed us to still trade.

I don't think so, World Government will regulated internet just because discourage to used cryptocurrency in  such transactions with any online transaction invlove. Like investing on their crypto exchanges, and doing online gambling using crypto.

@Tristanerus the world government? I did not know that there was a world government... Anyway, they cannot do that either, all governments cannot decide what interests them and what not.
They can decide what is good for them and what is not good for them, and they can legislate to avoid it, but it is one thing to legislate and quite another to achieve it, so I gave you the example of "illegal" downloads. No government can do with the Internet what it wants, it would be its own grave.

I don't believe the government will take down crypto,by limited internet. Because we all know crypto has been predicted will be the future currency. I think the government will accept crypto currency soon.

I don't think they will. Since the government themselves use the Internet and now it is very difficult to imagine our life without the Internet.
