Maybe you are eying for higher price and aiming for much bigger profit. Also possible that some of us here have a different point of view why they hold Ethereum.

At the moment BSC is the only one that can still stand up to the ETH. The competition is on the way, but they will also need time.
Cardano could rise 5x for a short time, but in the long term I see Ethereum ahead. And after ETH 2.0 the fight starts all over again. Hopefully it will never stop.
And ETH still has a head start on this path.
That the Ethereum will be further developed is a big plus for me.

I am holding Ethereum because this altcoin is the best among other altcoins. If you monitor the progress of this altcoin, it has been already increasing very significantly for months. Good question, would be interesting to know everyone's reasons. I believe in its use, smart contracts have incredible scope, I'd like to see it expand and for other "good" projects to stem off from the Ethereum project by building on it (and I stress the word good, not many are)

I think one of the reasons everyone holds Etherium is to make a profit in the future.There are many investors who have made huge profits by investing in Ethereum platform.However, I do not have enough Ethereum to hold.But those who are currently holding Ethereum I think will face some gain in the future.

Yes, there are many thousands of different ERC-20 tokens issued on the ethereum platform and everyone needs ethereum to move. However, the main thing is that ethereum is a very promising coin for price growth. For now, we are waiting for July, when, presumably, the ethereum network will solve the problem with a high level of gas for transactions and, possibly, with scalability. After that, the ethereum price should rise well. This coin is still very undervalued.
