Title: Signature is too Downwards
Post by: damsix on January 23, 2024, 08:12:04 PM
Since I was on this forum I saw that the signatures of various members were too down and the results were not pleasing to look at, this is just my opinion.
How can the admin leave just a little space for the signature, so that it doesn't go down too far?

Example 1: from the UniJoin signature where the Onion symbol is downwards, that's okay but it looks less pleasing and less neat.

Example 2: from the Thormixer signature where the Hammer symbol is downwards, that's okay but it doesn't look nice and neat.

Can admin provide the best solution for this?
Or maybe just on my account like this?
Or maybe I made a mistake by not knowing which button I should set?
Maybe it can be improved in the User Interface section or wherever so that it doesn't get too down because I don't understand the website.

So far what I have seen with the mixer signature campaign is fine if you open altcoinstalks on a desktop/PC but if you access it via mobile you usually see something like this and often the signature text extends to the bottom I only see it in the mobile version whereas for PC it doesn't.

And did the OP access it from the mobile web? Are there any differences between the desktop and mobile versions when accessing this forum?

i'm using desktop and they look exactly what OP had it on his images. there is this tail going downwards and its a mess.
there shouldn't have this kind of error since the BTT and Altcoinstalks are just the same, they are both using the Simple Machines. but maybe because this forum is sort of modified up to some point.

i have seen these error since the start of their campaign and i thought they would fix it after a day. i think the signature code has to be modified again and not the forum who will fix for them to look nice.

Maybe this could be from your end, probably the fault of the device you are using, because over here on my own end, both signatures you used as an example appear just fine on my mobile device and my computer as well.

So, what I am thinking could be the problem here is the resolution of the device where you are viewing the signatures from, that is, the device with which this shots shared was taken.

But I still would call on the admin to see what can be done so that signatures will display correctly across all device and screen resolutions and sizes.

this is what it look like to me. but may i ask OP if he is using TOR browser?

same with OP.  if the looks of the signature is affected, the marketing might also be affected but i'm not sure if it affects Unijoin marketing campaign. if it affects positively, then just let it as it is.

the number off characteristics in in the sig space is unlimited unlike in the other forum afaik. i have seen one user that have mistakenly pasted the code twice and he has two sigs piling up.

I have no problems with signatures and I see them fine for all members, but it is true that some of them are not shown correctly with Tor browser.
This is probably some kind of bug with code that needs to be fixed, maybe related with moving parts that was not available on bitcointalk forum.

Signature for Coinomize moves but it looks normal, so Unijoin and Thormixers have this bug.
Another one with this bug in Tor browser is signture for FX BOX signature:

Maybe there are more, so report them all here.

Coinomize signature code is fine

Thormixer signature code is fine

Unijoin signature code is fine

All the signature codes on my website display are all fine, I didn't find any problems.
I use the notebook version of the web browser and use the Opera browser application.
It looks like this problem needs to be resolved immediately by the admin because I think this just seems strange.
Some members access and see the signature fine, but some members also see problems with the signature. I hope admin has time to look into and resolve this issue. :)

I can confirm there is a issue with some signatures when TOR browser is used, and this needs to be fixed by admins I think.
Maybe they are not 100% compatible with signatures in bitcointalk forum, and I never saw something like this in btt forum.
In all other browsers signatures are working fine.

This has been an issue with Firefox too. I think admin has helped adjust the signature codes of the other campaigns. The managers could ask for the same favor if they wanted a fix or they could ask for a quick tutorial on how to tweak the codes to look good for all browsers via PM.

I have checked it using my smartphone and I see it is fine. Look at picture above.

I previously used Tor Browser to open access to altcoinstalks and I used a PC.
This seems to be an error in the signature code so it cannot support Tor Browser.
But after I checked all the replies to this thread, it seems like there are lots of other problems too.

I can confirm there is a issue with some signatures when TOR browser is used, and this needs to be fixed by admins I think.
I think the error is also here, it's in the Tor Browser section.
What is your best suggestion to the Admin for solving this problem?

Some signatures appear well on some browsers, and a certain part of the unijoin signature and my signature is the one that appears broken, so the problem may be related to the onion logo in both signatures. Most signature campaigns appear well on my browser.
