Its always better to trust the most established and well known crypto currency in the world. My first priority is always remain bitcoin because I know many altcoins will come and disappear but bitcoin will remain here because of mass adoption. In my opinion,  I agree with you mate.  Bitcoin is good for long term investment.  It will exist for long years again. Because It is the King of crypto currency.
