If there's any set of people who should not be trusted with their words is politicians because over time they have shown that they can't be trusted with their words and promise's because they only use them during campaigns to get their support and get their vote so they can win election but concerning trump and his promises to the American crypto community I think he is going to fulfill them because he mean what he promised and people should give him that benefits of doubt and wait for him to implement his promises to the people especially when it comes to crypto again we should know that the American society is an enlightened society so if trump don't do as he said during the campaigns he will be doing it at the risk of his party in the next election season that will come up after his second tenure

maybe so. Trump surrounds himself with the people who invest in crypto. i'm sure there is substance to what he was saying back when he was campaigning. after learning, he and elon started department of government efficiency (DOGE) its quite a fun office and some are already entertaining the thought that Doge would be the official cryptocurrency of US lol

i know its not so much of a success yet for Trump admin but this is going to be  ride for crypto once this bull run continues its rise.

We cant be relying on what politicians are saying and this same reason makes it not to be more appropriate for us to include their effects on the way we are dealing or handling our crypto, in cryptocurrency, we know what to expect and what is at stake, while in politics, things remains unpredictable as well as the politicians involved, its better we don't work by their promises, because we will eventually ends being disappointed.

him being surrounded by people who are also probitcoin in the white house must mean something surely he will do his part and fulfill his promises i have seen people say that trump is someone who does not go backwards with his words but at the same time he is 78 after this presidency he will be 82 will he still run after that? can he really still lead the country at that age? and will anyone still be willing to vote for him at that age regardless of what he did considering issues and illnesses that come with that age?

In Africa and most part of the world, politicians are full with promises during campaigns and not fulfilling them at all when they eventually get elected into office, so for that, we should not celebrate any campaign promises and also not rate politicians based on they campaign promises, because there is far difference between campaign and governance in most cases.

This is not just limited to Africa, politicians generally often fail to deliver on the promises they made during their campaign. Your points about not celebrating just campaign promises are very correct, but we can still appreciate every positive impact see as a result of our preferred candidates' victory. Trump's victory has impacted the market positively  and it is worth celebrating, at least for now till we know his next moves. Well as we all know that's a normal thing for politicians to make their promises get what they want and at last forget most of them again. And sometimes I think why they forget some of these there promises is because immediately you hold the position as the front man there are many pressures and alot of more bigger things to attend to there by from time to time they need to be reminded of their promises.
In the case of crypto currencies I don't see it that way because he used most of his campaign to make these promise so it is now a big one so it would be too big to forget, he would want to settle these promises.

For us to be able to go and and not be disappointed in cryptocurrency, then we must be ready and able to focus on what we have learnt about the crypto networks and hold onto them, instead of believing on the vain promises from some of our political leaders, we cannot be disappointed in crypto but politics cannot be trusted, because they are people working under centralized authorities.

Election in our country is happening in around 6 months more or less, and here in our place, there's many politicians that are already giving away relief goods with their name on it as a way for them to introduce themselves. I'm living on a place where typhoon struck us 4 times hence, we're seeing packs of relief goods here and there coming from different politicians.

I think I'll do the same as what you're doing. I'll list down their promises or maybe have some record on it so that I can compare all of them. I guess their past performance would help us decide on whether this politician can be trusted a bit or not. I've seen politicians here and there that are not fulfilling their promises, and there's nothing we can do about it because we got fooled by their "FLOWERY" words during the campaign period.

He did not fire Gary Gensler, he is resigning of his own will, i don't think the president has the constitutional powers to fire the sec chair, but it makes sense that he is stepping aside, so the new administration can pick a person of their choice to chair the sec.

His first promise and more important to his voters is also a new tax, on top of his previous tax on imports from China, especially electronics!
Not, please let me know how are miners from the US going to transform it into a mining hub when Asics imports are going to be taxed extra from 25-50%, depending on which side of the bed this guy will be waking up?

I don't know if he will follow all of his bold promises that he made to crypto community but the result of his win has already satisfied lot in community. They already ignoring promises it's like people might forget about promises but Trump won't because he made it on air mostly.

Other than Trump every politician make promises and nothing bad in that this is what they do. They have to share their aim with their fellow citizens so they could vouch for him and give him or her power to change what they wanted to be change.
