The value of this coin skyrocketed overnight shortly after Elon Musk posted a post about Doggy.At that time almost every investor invested a lot so this coin price increased many times in a few days.

If I still choose Doge when compared to Shiba, it's true that with Elon Musk's tweet, the price of Doge has increased sharply. 
But before Elon Musk did that, I'd been holding Doge for a long time.  Apart from investing, transactions using Dogecoin are transactions with very low fees.

Elon Musk really has a strong influence for the price increase of Doge, once Doge price tweet goes straight to the moon. 
But unfortunately lately Elon Musk has been less active in tweeting about Dogecoin, maybe this is why the price of Doge is a bit slow.
But true, Doge remains a good choice for long-term investment.

I just bought both DOGE and SHIB, but most of it goes to DOGE because I trust its community. SHIB has a more developed ecosystem but DOGE like BTC in the world of meme-coins. I really hope that DOGE will cost 1 USD in 2025.

It seems that if I look at their community, maybe the shib is more superior than the doge, but we see that the influence of Elon is very strong with the existence of the doge, even though Elon is unable to do anything about the doge at this time, it is still down and can't get up even though it is supported even by Elon, because the market is bearish.
As far as development goes, it seems like more of a shib's hard work than a doge's, but both of them still remain as coin memes that will always disappoint the holder at any time.

It is impossible that no one buys Doge or SHIB. Check again the daily transaction of those coins, it should be still many people trading on them. SHIB and Doge won't be the top 20 coins in the world if no one buys them anymore, judging no one buys is surely nonsense. By the way, what do you mean by saying "meme coins are below Doge"? Don't you know that Doge is one of the mem coins, too.

indeed this is one of the coin memes that appears more prominent and is highly reckoned with, but there is a very big difference between doge and shib, namely doge increases because of the role of elon musk and shib increases because it has innovations that are continuously being developed.
it is likely that it will increase in the future, of course I agree with that if indeed bitcoin has started to improve.
