I think It depends what you want to do..If you're profesional , you can sell it for trading. I personally do both. Trading and hold it for long term investment.

It depends on how you take this situation. For me, I don't think any negative effect regarding on the sell off if it was done in a perfect timing. As long as you gain good profits when you sell, I don't see any stupidity from it.

I sell my crypto and  converting it  to another crypto. Because I learn the market demand, I will choose the potential coin where will I invest.

There can be many reasons for people selling their holdings at the current market rates. If I needed the money I would sell too, although I am hoping I won't have to. One of the many reasons why you shouldn't invest more money than you can afford to lose, should always have enough for a 'rainy day'. Another reason could be that they are betting on further market drops and are looking to get back in at a lower price, that would be my plan anyway, as can see the market taking longer than expected to rebound. Looking forward to this time next year and hopefully a much healthier looking wallet.

I personally prefer hold for long term investment than sell it. Because I believe the price will rise again at the end of this year.

Yea i think it is stupid decision to selling cryptocurrency due to the top ten on coinmarketcap due to we are in era of digital (internet) and the users who use cryptocurrency is just around 1% around the world, when all of people around the world use cryptocurrency, we can make prediction the price of cryptocurrencies will be more expensive than right now.
