Indeed I don't know last five years of XRP performance but last year XRP is performed too good than other top altcoins thus it attracted many investors and XRP deal with many international banks so it's price increased significantly thereby it overtaken ethereum also XRP gave good opportunity to earn more profits for XRP investors at the dull cryptomarket situation.
