Real Madrid will definitely focus more on the UCL. This will definitely make Real Madrid much more trustworthy in the second leg of the UCL. Because the second leg will be held at Real Madrid's home ground. And with the atmosphere of joy from Real Madrid becoming champions in Laliga, it will definitely have a positive impact on Real Madrid players to be able to play even better in the second leg. Because the confidence of Real Madrid players is definitely at their best at the moment. And it would be extraordinary if Real Madrid also managed to advance to the final in the UCL.
It's not just confidence from winning La Liga but also the fact that they have nothing else to think about. They can play at full throttle in the second leg without worrying about next week's match. The key players can rest and prepare for the Finals while their second 11 can play the next four La Liga games

Gambling discussion / Re: How did the gambling life Start?
« on: Today at 06:07:44 PM »
I'm not going into all the details but gambling started early for me and it's betting with childhood friends/classmates. It's usually a small amount on various games or prediction contest. Although frowned upon because of young age, I sometimes join in coin flip but the adults didn't really take me seriously.

CZ is a strong dude, the way he is accepting his mistakes and showing the positive side of the story, I admire it. Because in such a situation, a person who has lots of funds and is rich (basically) it's hard for such persons to make such statements. He still believes in crypto, (although it's his empire) and he looks forward to how he can do his time and get back into the game after 36 months. As in my OP, 36 months is not a big deal for CZ as he is strong.
I'm quite dumbfounded at how you guys are still praising him. Are you a Binance user? CZ most likely sold you (and thousands of users) out already in exchange for his light sentence. He's not strong but wise enough to bend to authorities because there was a strong evidence against him. He's obviously happy that he got only 4 months that's why he can speak positively about his situation.

Real Madrid clinching the La Liga title early means bad news for Bayern Munich in the second leg because they can go all out without thinking of potential injuries. If you're planning to bet on this match, then now is probably a good time while the odds are still high @1.85 for RM.

2 games remaining for Arsenal and 3 games for City. Neither team can afford to lose any point and it looks like it will be their respective matches against Man United and Tottenham that will decide this season's winner.

I think City is also trying to close the gap in goal difference in case they draw one of their games.

Great opening to the series for the Wolves as they steal one from Denver's home court. Congrats to those who bet on them, I forgot to check the odds here but the Nuggets were most likely the slight favorite. The rival fans (Lakers) are probably celebrating right now and I've also seen some switching to the Los Angeles Timberwolves ;D (I cannot find the it but someone made a Laker logo with a howling wolf on it)

There's a circulating report that Lebron, I mean Lakers, fired coach Ham and the entire coaching staff after getting eliminated in the first round. Is there anyone surprised by this news? Definitely a few if there were. They should remove whoever is responsible for trading too.

On Magic's win over the Cavs (game 6), the series really turned out to be a battle of the home courts.

On Mavs vs. Clippers (game 6), not over yet but it looks like another blowout win for the Mavs. I think the Clippers early exit is more embarrassing than the Lakers.

My guess is that the Government will intervene when job losses increases at an alarming rate. Why? Because by then, tax collections from the middle class (working class) will drop significantly and they will be forced to provide aid to millions of jobless citizens. Imagine no new money but with added expenditure. Governments don't want things like that to happen.

Mental support ;D I'd rather change that to mental toughness.

To win at gambling, one needs a combination of luck, skill, and strategy. Even with these factors, I believe there is one another crucial aspect for a gambler's to get win that is mental support. The reason I say this is because when I am not mentally prepared, if I engage in gambling, I loss the bet. Are there any among you who, despite an unwillingness, still manage to win at gambling? or Do you think mental support is the one another key factors to win in gambling?
Yeah that is why we have to be mentally and physically fit before going to gambling for us not to be able to do something stupid because if not then decision making would be difficult and we're peobe to distractions or even have this bad temper when experiencing loss.

I can agree that person must be mentally ready for gambling (when in general person must be mentally ready to accept loss and that is it), but why he must be physically fit? If I dont do 10 push-ups I am not suited for gambling? If I am fat for example, that means others will have advantage over me in gambling? Pushing buttons, holding cards, throwing chips require special skill and strength to do? As well the word skill also raises questions. What special skill require gambling?
Let's look at the opposite side of this. When you are feeling sick, do you think your brain can function properly? When you are drowsy or you're lacking energy because you already played for hours, what is the likelihood that you're going to make silly gambling mistakes? I'd say pretty high.

The ending of the Knicks vs. Sixers series was wild. It was truly a battle of attrition and too bad that Embiid wasn't there (fouled out) to play it until the last minute. Anyway, what's your strategy for the semis (Knicks vs. Pacers)?

~
I hope Giannis will stay with the Bucks and maybe they should trade Lillard, he is a liability on defense.
~
As for Giannis and Dame, I think both will stay with the Bucks for at least one more season.
Yeah, I guess one more season for the duo to give them more time to blend. It will be interesting to see who will be on trading block after the season is over. I have a feeling Middleton will be up for a trade too.

Too bad I was not able to bet on game 6 of Pacers vs. Sixers because I missed the time. Anyway, with Pacers already 20 points ahead with just 8 minutes remaining in the 4th quarter, I don't expect any miracle happening here. The Bucks' season is over and Giannis gonna be requesting for a trade after (or not ;D)

I am very sympathetic to CZ on his case in USA and I was actually sad of learning that he is facing some possible jail time...now when the sentence finally came there is a big sigh of relief that it is just actually just four months.
I don't get why you're sympathetic towards him when he's just one of the many cunning businessman. If you've had your KYC with Binance before the case, most likely all your information and history has been handed out to the US law enforcement or maybe including Interpol. That's probably one of the main reason why he only got a light sentence.

I find it hard to believe this is really happening. Yeah, Fury's performance against Ngannou is below his usual standard but I'm still putting my money on him. Tyson could win by volume and I might bet on a win by decision as well. Usyk is tough to knockout and probably has good conditioning.

He also cries for a foul on nearly every bucket he misses. Just play the damn game man.
This. He also complains in his interviews if they don't get the calls and acts ignorant if it's the other way around. "I think they fouled and we didn't" (something like that) is what he said when there was a huge gap in free throws in their favor.

In other news, the knicks will likely finish off Philly next game, the Mavs will finish off LA next game, Indy should finish off the Bucks unless Giannis and Dame are back, and its a toss up on Cleveland vs Orlando.
I can agree that Cavs and the Magic is the toughest one to predict.

Gambling discussion / Re: Do People Change Their Preferred Casino?
« on: May 02, 2024, 08:22:24 AM »
I mean you can be loyal to a brand as long as it continues to provide quality products and services right? The same could be said to casinos and sportsbooks. If they change policies (something inconvenient) or remove some games you like, then it's only natural that you also look for another that meets your preference.
