Leverkusen's performance this season is pretty incredible, especially considering they finished 6th in the 2022/23 with 8 losses and a goal difference of only +8, compared to the current of +48.
It's like a completely different team. Xabi Alonso has done amazing work and will probably be getting a lot of offers from bigger clubs when his contract expires in 2026.
B04 has already beaten the German record of consecutive games without a loss (in all competitions), currently set at 38, but they're still going.
If they manage to win the league with no losses, that would be something. But it's not going to be easy, as they still have some tough games, e.g. against Dortmund or Stuttgart.
