Dash mining profitability in 2018

Hello everyone,
I'm close to pulling the trigger and pre-ordering an antminer D3 and it would be for the December batch. I'm nervous that mining profitability will drop a ton by the time I'd receive the D3 and I'd be stuck not being able to reach ROI. Currently Dash is around $4k a month profit with the D3 after power costs.

With the increasing difficulty due to more D3s coming online how much should I expect profitability to drop by 2018?

I do realize it can mine other coins as well with the X11 algorithm so that may be an option if Dash isn't profitable anymore.

Actually ROI could compete with other types of kiss as long as we remain patient in the hoard for a while and then wait for price movements up in order to gain multiple benefits later.

I would check other coins, or even not mine at all. Take a look at nodes, node coins. I believe they are the future. Mining is so old and most coins will turn to Proof of Stake.

I'm receiving my antminer D3 tomorrow and from what I've read a lot of people are in the same boat as I am. I purchased it a few months ago when it was extremely profitable - I knew it would drop but not down to nothing like it is now. I realize the difficulty being as high as it (due to the crazy amount of miners on the network) is has made profitability drop as well as people not holding or using Dash.

That would be nice for Dash coin miners Dash is now ranked 12 at coin market cap's highest capitalization and it looks
that Dash is really doing great and supported by a lot of investors in the crypto currency world.

I think mining a dash coin is very profitable, and you should hold a dash before waiting for the price to rise again to be higher in price.
