+134992225.79% from $0.04865 to the current price. So that is a astonishing numbers already and for sure as he have seen on Satoshi's supposedly bitcoin, he has ton and could be one of the richest already.

So yeah, it's a good thing to just be a holder and invest long term as profit margin is big and this has been tested already by some OG members in the other forum, not from the very beginning, but those who have been in the market for let's say 2011.

I really agree because the current market is very good, and like the title of the OP Invest and hold bitcoin, that is the right way we can do it. Because bitcoin is the most valuable coin and is everyone's priority to invest in crypto. so buy bitcoin while it is still low and hold

Check the time frame from 20101 to 2024, that's 14 years we are talking about and a lot of uncertainty has happened since that time, many people has called that Bitcoin will die a lot of time and with that many people has freak out with some FUD and sold their coin, the only few people I think that has not sold their coin might only be the miners and some few developer ls that have taken Bitcoin as number one assets they believed in. Holding Bitcoin for 14 years might be like 40 years.

Developers and Miner's don't they love touching real money how sure are we if those people have not sold their bitcoin till date, Yes this could be true because most of them might have sold at the previous ATH and to me holding bitcoin is the most difficult things to do knowing too well that there are no other source of income, one could keep pressuring their holdings since they don't have additional income that is coming. Sincerely speaking holding bitcoin for 14 years is like holding bitcoin for even more than 40 years as you may have said.

I'm not saying miners didn't sell Bitcoin but because they have Bitcoin frequently as they find block and confirm transaction, they make Bitcoin from block rewards and also from Bitcoin transaction, so even if they sold it wouldn't be everything, they will have some coins with them they would still be holding even as they are spending.

As for developers, they will definitely spend too but back in the early days they have much allocation of Bitcoin that was coming from the community and also from individuals that voluntarily give them bitcoin and also get some from organization for making sure that Bitcoin is working properly. So it is possible that they have some Bitcoin they are still holding.

If someone has been hodling bitcoin for 14 years then that person has no complain to keep holding again because he has gotten enough profit in the investment. Even though he will not sell all but some percentage will be sold and if I am the one hodling bitcoin for such years. As you said I would sell it gradually. Developers sell bitcoin to do some expensive and pay tax and bill. But miners and investors have different way of acquiring bitcoin. Miners get it the mining process which can be everyday but investors are just once a week or monthly or all at once.

DCA is the best but if you can lumpsum, it's also good. And for those that are good in trading, they have their part of holding that they're adding more for the long term. And accompany that with patience and everyone is going to get the target prices that we're all aiming for. It will take some time but it is sure that every wait we do is going to be worth it. No need to rush and don't sell when it is not necessary but do it when you truly need it.
