DEFI projects are being spun up in an environment aligned with crypto-currencies and digital assets and as such have limited regulation applied to them.
But just like any new technology, the maturation of these projects and the inevitable failure of some, will create a safer and less risky space to innovate, whilst ensuring the correct KYC/AML procedures are in place and the adequate legal and regulatory frameworks are adhered to.
At the point where fintech and DEFI map and merge (which should happen, as they are both just trying to find better ways to apply technology to finance), we will have a true inflection point where nascent financial technology is just part of a new financial system…
One which hopefully realises the dream of being fast, secure, cheap, available, connected and egalitarian.

I think DeFi is a popular and better platform.However, DeFi as a currency is far ahead, especially the future of DeFi is very good. Due to which DeFi has already gained much recognition in cryptocurrency and gained popularity all over the world. The projects that DeFi has are successful because of which it invests a lot more money in the DeFi platforms. However, I think that these DeFi platforms will be more advanced in the future than at present and will spread the reputation of DeFi across cryptocurrencies.

The rate at which defi tokens projects are popping out from no where is beginning to look exactly like ICO period. The only only difference between this one and the previous bull run is, the finance is heavily fuel and I don't think its going down soon but it most at a point.
Take a look at coingecko bots and you will be astonished by the number of finance that are been listed every week. The scary day is that of Mondays.

DeFi is a really dominating trend in the market right now. i was holding some synthetix tokens too from the ico and regret selling them at around $1 each and now price has already pumped around $2.50 per snx and seems like bulls are still in control. I am hopeful and positive that in few years DeFi sector will be growing so much that it will be capable to compete with the traditional financial sector which is outdated and definitely needed something new so here we have it in shape of DeFi.

Just as someone said in one thread. Defi is popular because they are very easy to make profit from them. Every project here and there have all become defi, probably because everyone has made trend their friend but u can assure everyone that it wouldn't last long and even if it will end, it will be unexpected. The coming was never expected, the same way for the exit.

I am not sure what could be the future because it all depends on what people do with the technology however I know that people are pretty much in love with the idea of not having any centralized organization in between of this. I get that blockchains are decentralized and bitcoin is decentralized but the way we use bitcoin is not decentralized at all, it was highly centralized because we all used billions of bitcoins on centralized places.

Already the projects of DeFi platforms are the most successful and DeFi is an advanced platform. DeFi is currently far ahead of all other platforms and is most likely to go further in the future. DeFi is a decentralized blockchain which is a better platform I think will be the most variable of it in the future. Especially in the cryptocurrency market, the popularity of most DeFi stores and the number of investments are the highest. DeFi will go much further in the future.

I like defi movement and having a world where know one controls the system but entirely decentralized. But there is something we have left unchecked. The number of smart contract hacks has been one of the biggest threat to defi and it need to be sort out so that more and more noobs will have interest on cryptocurrencies.

DeFi services have become much more widespread in the crypto industry. However, it is currently losing some of its popularity. The amount of assets in more markets is declining. However, its position may be better in the future.

DeFi hype will never last forever as per platform boom there is time to declining the momentum. After DeFi, I think nft is the next one as we can smile nft development is busy circulating in cryptocurrency space. Maybe soon DeFi hype will end. Nft the next platform to boom.

Defi has clearly only a future, where fees are low (because it's impossible to use for Ethereum now), transactions are fast (because people don't want to wait) and Defi needs to be censorship resistant (to be a truly Decentralized Finance).
For Ethereum, it's decentralized and fast but not cheap, for Binance, it's fast and cheap but not decentralized.
My most favorite Defi platform is Avalanche [AVAX]. At Avalanche, Defi is cheap, fast and decentralized. It will really have a great future and bring us a much more better Defi network.

Transparency, this is something we never see when we had some money and put it in the bank, but I will focus on this topic, the DeFi platform will continue to be developed and the team has thought a lot before building the DeFi platform, we have seen a large number of APYs that are offered by some of these platforms and in my opinion the developers have many ways to get legality licenses from financial institutions because some DeFi platforms accept Fiat and cryptocurrencies like USDT which can later be used on that platform.

Ease edit the part you said less risky. DeFi are one of the most riskiest asset to invest in since they caught the attention of many whales and institutional investors.
Many defi. Project wouldn't just die but will collapse and will find it difficult to move forward.
The recent bitcoin heavy correction has proven that already. I hope we don't go below $30k with bitcoin in this market otherwise :'( :'( :'( :'(

Compared to all other platforms, DeFi platforms are far ahead at present. However, the current situation in the cryptocurrency market is not very good. The market has come down a lot.However, I think DeFi platforms will be able to go much further than all other platforms and will be more than double in popularity and current.

So far, the defi sphere is developing very successfully and a lot of cryptocurrency projects that are developing in the defi sphere have reached an incredible level, and if the hype around defi sphere will not subside, then I think that defi sphere will still be popular for a couple of years, well, then, as usual, there will be something else around which there will be new hype.

The future of this platform is undoubtedly, but scam here is also full, the coins of these projects quickly gain momentum, and then just plummet to zero.
There are many coins from defi projects in the portfolio, only they have already lost at least -x10
