Title: Purchasing IOTA as an ExPat

I am a USA Expat, which means my citizenship is USA but I reside outside of the country.
Due to KYC requirements, I have been unable to register on exchanges to purchase Bitcoin or ETH coin to purchase IOTA.  Are there any other folks residing outside of their native country having the same issues as I am?
