I think we'll either see a pullback and BTC dropping sub $50-$60k or we'll break the $80k before the halving.
I can't imagine price staying flat for over 20 days, and that's how long we have until the halving.
I think it is unlikely to see the price of Bitcoin dropping to $50k-$60k. The current price is above $70k and it seems to try growing again constantly although it is a bit slower than previously. As long as Bitcoin price can survive about $70k, I think it tends to jump to $80k than freefall to $50k-$60k. There is no matter to cause the huge drop because we are almost in the Bitcoin halving. People must be more enthusiastic to buy than selling their Bitcoin.

There will always be a correction after the price reaches its highest point, then there will be a correction so that it can reach a higher point. that's according to my observations so far. but to determine the right time to buy depends on our research and analysis, if we are sure then buy
It is pretty true. When the price of a coin reaches the new highest rate, it should have a correction. It is the time that the price will drop again before it tries to increase to a higher rate. We can see the price of Bitcoin dropped after it reached the new ATH currently. It is the same as other crypto coins, they dropped again after reaching new highest rates. However, it is natural thing, we shouldn't be afraid. Well, it is not only according to your research but it is the reality.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Buy on dip
« on: March 31, 2024, 07:17:01 PM »
I am also interested in buying coins at Dip prices but I don't know when the coin price will become Dip because I am not a psychic.
Or maybe I can buy coins during the Dip when the coins are minus up to -85%. And I find coin drops like this very rarely.
This is probably the safest point to buy coins because at least if it is -85% it just rises slightly to -65% which means you have made a profit of 20%.
You need to learn 4 years cycle of bearish-bullish to know when the best time to buy at the dip. If you bought the coins in 2022, it means you buy at the dip because it was the time of most coins have very cheap prices. Most of them were -85% or even -90%. Sure, it was the safest time to buy coins. However, it was also not bad if you bought in 2023. But we must be careful when we buy in this year and the next year. Always remember that the best time to buy is in the bearish season.

Binance / Re: Binance to be banned in Philippines.
« on: March 31, 2024, 01:07:37 PM »
In my country, the ban is not effective since the government only uses IP filtering to block Binance domains, and people can easily bypass it with a VPN or using a different DNS. Does Phillippines do the same thing or is there a stricter method such as blocking people's access to banks if they made transactions on Binance after the ban is active? Unsurprisingly, I've seen many posts from their users in affected areas that they should get a license so they don't lose access to Binance. I wonder if it is simply because there are no good local alternatives or there are other reasons.
True. In Indonesia, the ban is totally ineffective. We can use VP to access Binance, we also still register in Binance with our ID. If we want to convert our assets to fiats, we can send the assets to our local exchanges. So, there is no problem although our government bans Binance.  :D

I think this also can happen in Philippines. As long as there are some local exchanges there, they can use the same way. Unless, there is no local CEX there, it can be a serious problem.

Crypto Exchanges / Re: Is it safe to put the tokens on the exchange?
« on: March 31, 2024, 12:41:14 PM »
There is no exchange that is safe for you to store your coins, not your keys, not your coins. How can you know your coins are safe when you are not the one in control of the keys, do you know how the exchange stored them and if they are vulnerable to a hack.
I know it, we have no control for our tokens/coins when we put them on exchanges. It is fully controlled by the exchanges, they have the keys. However, people sometimes prefer to put tokens on exchanges because they will be easy to trade the tokens on the exchanges. If it is put on non custodial wallets, it needs transfer fees to send the tokens and trade them on the exchanges.

Store your funds only in self custodial and open source wallets and then back up your seed phrase offline.
For the security reason, always put the coins on non-custodial wallets! Don't put on custodial wallets!
You must know that custodial wallets are the wallets that we have no control on the coins. For the example is exchange wallets.

Stable Coins Forum / Re: Should you invest in Stablecoins?
« on: March 31, 2024, 12:33:38 PM »
it says investing in stablecoin, I don't invest but I have stablecoin, stablecoin for me is only an intermediary to save my assets when the value of the main coin weakens, it could be said to be a savior,
where stablecoin will be the main coin when buying all crypto coins, so it's natural to use it as an investment, but in the short term, in my opinion about this stablecoin
Your statement is a bit contradictory. You said it is for intermediary only but then you said it is natural to use stablecoins as investment.
In my opinion, it is no problem if someone wants to invest in stablecoins. If you checked the price of USDT against local currency, it sometimes can increase quite a lot. This is a chance of some people can earn profits. But if you only want to make it for intermediary, it is good as well. It is the right decision to keep our funds on USDT when the market is in red.

Stable Coins Forum / Re: Which stablecoin the safest?
« on: March 31, 2024, 12:26:49 PM »
In my opinion, USDT is the best stablecoin to have. It is backed by USD and which is a stable one.
It can be quite subjective about which stablecoin is the best.
Some people can choose USDT, other choose USDC, and the rest choose other stable coins.
I'm not sure if USDT is fully backed by USD although the team stated in their site. And it is also not 100% secure because the price of USD sometimes falls. No currency is very secure, personally I prefer the coins backed up by gold.

Both represent each of their networks, Bitcoin certainly comes first and becomes the benchmark for all chains,
while Ethereum is the king of altcoins and is the origin of all networks that appear today.
Indeed. Bitcoin is the first one, it is like the role model of all crypto coins. It has own privilege among all crypto coins in the world.
Ethereum is still the best altcoin, it is always in 2nd place of top crypto coins in the world. Its network is used by many projects in crypto industry.

Both have their own advantages and disadvantages, and I like both.
Of course, both Bitcoin and Ethereum have their own advantages.
I think there is no problem with these coins, they are 2 of best crypto coins in history.

Ethereum Forum / Re: Is staking ETH on Binance risky?
« on: March 31, 2024, 10:59:00 AM »
Stake BNB in binance exchange is good, at the past I did it. Maybe I will consider doing it again, because we get new coins there.
There are always many ways to gain profits in the crypto world, we have to try all mate.
Yes. Staking BNB or ETH enables us to earn profits. Binance is the number 1 exchange in the world, it is quite safe exchange. Even if there is a problem with Binance security, they always responds it quickly. I'm sure they don't want to have a bad reputation because of the security reason. So, I assume it is quite safe to stake BNB or ETH in Binance. However, we must be wise to determine how long we stake BNB or ETH there.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Trading is not same thing as Gambling
« on: March 29, 2024, 11:59:14 PM »
Although both gambling and trading seems like they have same attributes. Both involves uncertainty risk taking and it is not totally off to make them look same. I say so because both have similar rule of Not investing what you are not able to lose. However, trading requires skills and patience while gambling may depend on only luck. But whenever trading is done without experience or skill, it can be called gambling.
We can't deny that there is the similar thing between gambling and trading. Both of them have the risk of losing money. No people can always take profits in trading, and no people must win in gambling. This is the same thing between gambling and trading. However, most gambling games rely on the luck, meanwhile trading will rely on the knowledge and experience. If we have good knowledge and enough experience, we can increase the chance to take profits. That's why we must focus on learning first when we are in the beginner level. So, we have enough knowledge when we start trading.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: ATH of bitcoin 2025 ??
« on: March 29, 2024, 11:56:19 PM »
Many have hoped that the price of Bitcoin will reach $100k, but look at the condition of the exchange now, it looks like the bearish season has returned because currently the price of Bitcoin on the exchange has started to fall, and the conclusion of this movement is that halving is no longer a top priority for Bitcoin price increase.
The bearish season doesn't return now. It is too early for another bearish season. Even the first year of bullish season isn't over yet. Why we must be afraid of the bearish season now? Sure people expected to see the price can be above $100k. But some people begin to not very optimistic due to some bad news and the current drop in the market. However, I think there is still a chance for Bitcoin to be above $100k in this year.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: What do you think will be the future of Bitcoin?
« on: March 29, 2024, 11:53:16 PM »
We should buy bitcoin in 2022 or early 2023 where the price is still low, if we buy when it has touched the new ATH, it will feel too bold. It's best to buy potential altcoins and don't add bitcoin if you don't want to be trapped at high prices and cause panic.
Yes, the best time to buy was in 2022-2023. But if we still didn't buy in those years, we can buy before the halving. We can see that the price of Bitcoin and some altcoins already begin to skyrocket. It probably can have a big pump in the halving. We are nearing the halving, it will be in the next month. I don't think it is bad to buy Bitcoin now, it will be predicted around $80k in the next month (halving). But it depends on you whether you are brave or not.  ;)

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Halving likelihood to be in red?
« on: March 29, 2024, 11:50:06 PM »
Basically after halving comes another bear market, I don't know how possible is this since most people always said that after halving we experience little dip which might likely affects many holders to stair them to panic sell than holding throughout the hard time. So any thing  next year is when we are going to experience full bull run than now, however is just few days left for the halving let see what the price could be.
Don't you learn the cycle of bearish and bullish season?
If you learn it, you must be aware that it will last 4 years. 2 years for bearish and 2 years for bullish. We just experience 1 year bullish season, there should be 1 more year. And according to the history, the ATH of most coins will be in the 2nd year of bullish season. That's why people predicted the altcoins season and the ATH of BTC will be in 2025.

Why we are afraid of another bearish after halving?

Not everybody can say that they are happy and making a profit from the bull run some supported altcoins during the bear trend while heading for the bull run, they thought that when the bull run started the coin would also get pumped, but coins/tokens could only get pumped if the coins/tokens are developing and its developers are developing the platform but if it's not then you could not expect profit even if there's a shift in the market.
Of course, there are some people who lose their money, they won't feel happy. People who come late, sometimes they end up with loses although it is in bullish season. Specifically in pump-dump coins like meme coins, I am sure there are many people to be trapped in the scheme of pump-dump. It is trending now but the trend can be over suddenly in the future. This cause many people lose their money in meme coins. Not all people have good understanding about crypto coins and crypto market. These type of people who may waste their money only in crypto.

I also heard that Solana will develop its own exchange like Binance, with its own exchange Solana will be more popular than now. Currently, Solana technology is being adopted by many new projects, because many have the advantages of low costs and good speed. With these advantages, Solana can compete with Binance smart chain.
I just know if Solana have a plan to have an own exchange. As long as it has low fees, I'm sure it will be one of the popular exchanges in the world in a short time. Solana showed a great progress in this year, it will have a big impact on the plan to own an exchange. It is the right time if they want to launch an exchange, but it should have a special thing. Sure, low fees and fast transaction are 2 major things that people mostly expect on an exchange.
