« Reply #16 on: November 08, 2019, 07:56:52 PM »
in few similar cases i banned the mods, and other mods were removed from duties, however i am currently have a discussion with the team to see if the action i took was appropriate and if not what are the alternatives

It depends on exact users. As I'm active in Serbian subforum recent time, I know that there is a moderator there. But if you would remove him from that subforum oneday... well, I'm not sure that I would find that out. Not because that moderator is bad, but because I know too little about him as a user of our forum. Even while 73.81% of posts in Serbian subforum are made by me. The situation with Bigpat and epidemia is different.

Bigpat and epidemia, are valuable members of our forum no doubt about that,
and until the removal from global mods, they were valuable members of team, no doubt

this said, i have opened a discussion channel to see this with the other team members
After this post, I understand even less why they were stripped of their status if they are such valuable members.

I will be waiting for your decision after discussion with your team, thank you for listening to opinions.

The sooner this happens, the better, because the debate on this topic will continue and without a final decision on your part, it will not be constructive. Because most of us want to be given them status back, but it’s not in our powers, now we have expressed our opinion in the hope of influencing your decision, but the decision is still yours and we will have to come to terms with it.

Now surely last message here from me until your final decision.

1. How to invite new projects to the forum?
2. How to invite new people to the forum?
3. What needs to be done to ensure that active forum users stay here?
4. What to do to make the forum token valuable? It's a crypto, there’s no way without "candy wrappers" :)

Answer me at least these questions. You are a clever man, but during my time on the forum, I still have not received answers to these questions.

1. that's a lot of leg work, not easy
2. we had different promotions in the past - thus this is answered
3. good question, i don't know the answer.
4. still figuring this part out, however for this to happen all 3 previous questions should be resolved

I know the answer to the third question, at least do not impose sanctions against the most active and respected users, creating tension in the community.

Sorry, I twice promised not to write anything else until your final decision, but I just can’t stay away, I work here and the whole situation is extremely important to me.

well the sanctions are not arbitrary, i am not a dictator,
however in certain cases tough actions should be taken,

few months ago, we had a global mod in charge of the junior spartans, i discovered that her friend had launched a competing forum, and as per miracle half the junior spartans have became active members on that forum.
Before that, our 2 top philipino mods, one was forum team, also teamed up with a guy to lunch a competing forum, and we lost many members that went to the new forum.
i had to act fast in both cases, still we lost many active users, even top active users.
both forums are now inactive, but from the users that left only very few came back.

So yeah, that's the issue

Well, if people continuing to leave forum, maybe the problem in forum, not in people?

Anyway, I still think that deprive people, just for being active on other forum - not solving an issue, it's just makes them stay on another forum, as altcoinstalks even worse for them now after depriving of status or ban.

In any case, this is already your personal business with the epidemia and Bigpat, there was a precedent and we, as a community, spoke out, now you heard us and entered into a dialogue with them, then it is up to you and them to solve this issue. I want to believe that the issue will be solved well for everyone, but we'll see.

it's not an issue of something wrong with the forum, but everytime that this happens i see members following the mods to a new forum
same with epidemia and bigpat, many of our legends have followed them to the new forum, "you" are also on the other forum

thus the 100 million $ question... if all these global mods that joined other forums were really just joining another forum without backstabbing this one, then none of the other members should have followed them, because none would have been informed.
but once you inform the gang, hey let's go to this new forum. that's technically backstabbing.
This wouldn't matter for a forum like bitcointalk, but for a small forum like ours that's devastating, and have been happening too frequently.
why? i don't know ... maybe at bitcointalk all the global mods are so rich in btc that they would disregard any such attempt to lure them.
for the cases of epidemia and bigpat, i understand that they are getting paid as a work, thus makes things less bloody than in the other 2-3 cases!

the funny part, is that our decline have been precisely caused by these backstabbing events, the forum once had 1000 members logged in simultaneously, now we barely have a 100 - and that's if.

You completely wrong, first, non of us learned about this new forum (which we can't talk about here) because epidemia or Bigpat told us - hey, join new forum! This is ridiculous. This forum doing big promotion campaign on bitcointalk right now, they paying people for posting and doing signature campaign on bitcointalk, I even created those signatures for them. That's how everyone learned about this new forum.

Second, you not the one who can decide where I can join and where I can't. You can restrict me here, but I'm paid worker offering services and you not the one who paying me, so I'm looking for places where I can earn money, as well as all others.

The more platforms = the more opportunities, there is no problem, any project wants to be promoted on as much platforms as possible, I'm managing bounty campaigns here now, but I'm doing bounty campaigns on bitcointalk as well.
Why do I joined altcoinstalks, if I can work on bitcointalk? - Because altcoinstalks also a good platform, and not because altcoinstalks censorship other forums. We all know about all other forums, ok? We don't need epidemia or Bigpat or any other mods to tell us about new good forum, if forum good - we will know about it anyway.

I can tell you facts:

1. epidemia is the one who bring me here, because of that I did Ferrum Network bounty campaign here.
2. Bigpat helped me when I was newbie here, he is the one who convinced the Agareum team to conduct a bounty campaign here, now I am conducting the second bounty campaign here.
4. I managing second bounty campaign on this forum and bringing my own community of bounty hunters.
3. You demoted them only because they work on another forum, although here you don’t pay them at all.
4. Neither I nor anyone else was going to leave altcoinstalks just because another forum appeared. It's just as stupid as leaving bitcointalk because of altcoinstalks.
5. Your legends following other legends/mods and leaving this forum, because legends are always looking for opportunities.
6. Now, after this case all of us thinking about leaving this forum and this is not a threaten, this is fact. I can speak only for myself, why do I thinking about leaving this forum? - because admin of this forum can restrict me just because I'm working on other forums too. I don't want to launch bounty campaign on forum, where I'm not sure about tomorrow. All my campaigns here supported by Russian community and epidemia and Bigpat personally. Without them there will be no sense to launch bounty here, there is no active people without ru community and now all Russian community disappointed, because most trusted members restricted for no logic reason.

Who is helping this forum to stay active after all? I do appreciate your work, you created this forum, but restricting most active users of this forum will leads to activity decreasing, not increasing.

I hope to finish my current bounty campaign here without any restrictions, but I'm not sure that I will launch any new campaign, since no one will join. I have responsibility to the project's team - I need to show them good activity, otherwise they will not pay for promotion here, nor me, nor participants. I'm done with this issue, it's not my business anymore, wish you luck with development. I'm just a manager who wants stable platform to stay stable.

Wow. Full Member already, yahoo!  ;D

Re: Regarding demoting Global Mods and mods
« Reply #25 on: November 08, 2019, 10:46:52 PM »
~

it's not an issue of something wrong with the forum, but everytime that this happens i see members following the mods to a new forum
same with epidemia and bigpat, many of our legends have followed them to the new forum, "you" are also on the other forum

thus the 100 million $ question... if all these global mods that joined other forums were really just joining another forum without backstabbing this one, then none of the other members should have followed them, because none would have been informed.
but once you inform the gang, hey let's go to this new forum. that's technically backstabbing.

Wow. Full Member already, yahoo!  ;D

Well in the case of this new forum, they did indeed spend a lot of money promoting
But in the case of the 2 other forums, there was none, users were recruited by the mods

This said, as i said i am discussing the issue, thus it's not a finished deal

Concerning campaigns, you are free to post your campaigns here of course, if you followed the rules no one will bother you, whether in the future you want to launch new bounties it's up to you.

There is a lot of pressure from the community, i see that, thus taking the time to analyse differents points.

6- the most trusted members are not restricted, they just lost global mod rank!  and if you take this issue to 100 forum admin, all of them would have done the same if not worse.

however this forum have been set to be for the people and by the people, thus the team vote overrides my decision
i hope epidemia and bigpat will not disappoint all those that have raised their voices to support them.

Good solution, will see what happens in near future. I hope that this forum will stay such good place as it is now and even become better.

Your actions are worthy of respect. I was very concerned about the decision, a big plus in karma ;)
