Title: Anyone feel like they are now losing money if not holding crypto?
Post by: dragononcrypto on January 09, 2021, 12:39:31 PM
Bitcoin's price is now 2x from previous all time high at $40K+, Ethereum has doubled in price within recent weeks sitting only a couple of hundred dollars from it's previous all time high. Do you feel like money you have not invested in the crypto market is going to waste and losing you value?

Fortunately I only have very little cash spare, as has been the case since $10-20K, however it does now feel it's worth half the value. Can anyone else relate?

I'm otherwise around 98% invested in bitcoin & altcoins right now so don't feel like I'm missing out at least, even if expecting a correction at "some point".

I really regret not buying Bitcoin. When I had the opportunity. But I think now to invest at that price, as Bitcoin should rise even more in price.

I never expect the price to shoot up to $40k but never the less, it's a good experience from bitcoin.
Correction is imminent and the whole cycle will have to change and we may enter a bear market soon. It usually happen when no one expect it though.
I am rooting for altcoins especially the Defi come back, it going to be a blast.

^ everyone will regret not buying Bitcoin at a low price, but it is never too late to invest in Bitcoin. but you have to be careful at what price you will buy because the current Bitcoin price will be 50% bearish and 50% will be bullish.

There is definitely a sense of loss, but what can I do if I don't have any money to invest in Crypto ?! Although I haven't benefited from the recent increase in Crypto prices, I am delighted to see this tremendous increase in price. This proves that cryptocurrency is still growing and there is good potential going forward.

Yes, sometimes I feel like the title of this post. But at other times I feel the opposite and it's funny because I ask myself how I will feel when Bitcoin (and others) starts to go down. At that moment I think about what to do and my brain implodes and I have the feeling that the best thing at that moment is to do nothing.

Couldn't agree more, unfortunately am also in this same boat as you, I sold the last btc I had at the beginning when the price just started rising, although I had a family emergency that made me sell but I still wish I hadn't, the value would have increased alot by now, nonetheless, I was happy to have been able to solve the problem at the time.

maybe you are among the better because you had time to enjoy the increase even though it was not maximized, but once again the need is a priority and we cannot delay.

it is a dilemma when we know that at the beginning of the year the pandemic began to break out, many people hesitated to keep bitcoin that has not yet seen increasing or selling for more urgent interests. because we know all medical equipment and medicine prices practically increase sharply if we do not buy we need.

The sharp increase in bitcoin is actually not that important to me. What I'm waiting for is the increase and update of ATH from the top-ranking altcoins, because it has a direct impact on many people who have been holding altcoins for a long time, because last year altcoins have not yet revealed themselves.

Many people regret not buying BTC and ETH when the price is still very low. And now the regrets are higher again because the price really passes the ATH, twice more.
However never panic, we must be wise in investing. We can analyze the market whether it will be increasing again or not and considering to put our money in them wisely

No need to regret it, there are many people who also having the same history as you. When the price of Bitcoin was decreasing in 2018, it should be the right time to buy. Well, it was already over and the time cannot come back again, so we are better to forget it. Actually, it is not too late if we want to buy Bitcoin, but choose the right time to buy.

Maybe this will be a valuable experience for me personally, because I don't buy Bitcoin or altcoins at a low price and hold them.  Because as we all know, that there will be times when crypto prices will soar, I hope that in the coming years this event will not be repeated to me.  Now is the time to work on as many bounties as possible.

Even if the crypto market is a dump if we invest the currencies and keep them at a low price then if the price goes up it will be profitable. Crypto is not losing money if they have an income system on another site then many do not invest but now most of the traders are investing in cryptocurrencies to increase the price of cryptocurrencies

Currently those who hold cryptocurrency bitcoins or any other top level coins have benefited. Moreover, those who have sold others have not been able to make a profit. Because after a long time this year the maximum price has increased. Especially Bitcoin, Ethereum, polkadot, chainlink, ltc, Monero etc.

That can't be denied, it is nice feeling watching your crypto portfolio growing 1k-2k every day for 30 days.
But now it is time to correct the stop-loss limit in order to later have enough cash to buy the deeps again after the crash or correction.
Nothing lasts forever, and neither does a bullish time.

It doesn't mean you're not holding your losing money. You don't need to force yourself to buy Bitcoin if you can't afford to have it. Besides, altcoins are there as an alternative way for us to have bitcoin in the future. And I know the majority of the community here in cryptocurrency knowst this matter actually.

The coins I hold could not benefit from them. However, if I had held Bitcoin, I could have made the most profit. However, Bitcoin and some higher currencies have the highest tendency to rise in price. So most people invest in good currencies, including Bitcoin.

I think if cryptocurrency is not holding at the present time then there is a possibility of loss. I don't care about money right now. Because investing in the cryptocurrency market increases the amount of assets. However, if you ever hold money, the amount of wealth does not increase.

Even a few days ago, the price of Bitcoin was much lower.  That bitcoin now doubled in price.  So everyone is regretting bitcoin, why didn't I invest in bitcoin.  But at present it is not possible to say exactly where the bitcoin price will go.  So I think you have to be careful when investing in Bitcoin now.

I think about this from time to time, especially seeing the market grow hour by hour. Many people get rich overnight thanks to crypto, but there are also many people who lose most of their wealth by investing in crypto. I invested in ICOs in 2017 and lost a lot of money, so I only see crypto as part of life, not all of things.
I spend most of my money in food, house & computer systems, they help me continue living and working effectively. And crypto is temporarily just a source of passive income.

Of course, most of us probably regret not investing more of our money in bitcoin in March last year, when its price was about ten times lower than the current one. But cryptocurrency is still a relatively new phenomenon and we are all still learning. Someone intuitively makes the right moves, someone does not. Almost all of us make mistakes, and we all have lost profits. It's impossible to predict everything in this market. You need to draw certain conclusions from your new experience and move on.

Everyone who didn't invest early last year when bitcoin dipped would be having this same thing in mind, I also regret not investing in bitcoin last year, but there was extreme fear in the market and besides I needed the money to take care of my family during the lockown, so I can't say it's entirely my fault, hoping to buy the next dip in the future, so for now fingers crossed.

The market is still in a correction. If we are a spot trader, it seems that it is better to hold the coins that we bought in a higher price. Moreover this si the right time to buy altcoins when it is like in discount. However, if we are a future trader, it doesn't matter fi the price is up or down, we can still get the profits.

My friend warned me to buy Bitcoin in early December 2020, but I ignored that information by not buying Bitcoin and altcoins because I was not sure that Bitcoin would rise to its highest level to date.
I have at least $500 in 2020 and I am not buying anything other than selling altcoins because I am worried that the price will go down, actually I feel lost because I do not have altcoins and Bitcoin, but it is a matter of time, it looks like if Bitcoin corrects down below $25k then I going to buy it with the funds that I have

At present it is better to hold than to sell any coin. Because now most of the coins have improved. The reason why most of the coins in the market have improved so much is that the demand for each coin in the market has increased. At present it is possible to make the most profit by holding.

If we hold useless altcoins then our money is lost and the estimation is reduced.
But if we hold the coin stable, so long as the coin is stable and cannot decrease or experience an increase in price.

Until now, I still hold stable coins, so I don't feel like losing money. But if it's different, maybe if I hold altcoins and the price can go down at any time.

Profit opportunities are not uncommon. The issue is that we do not always see these opportunities immediately. And we notice them after we have missed them. We just need to more carefully consider any options, even those that seem unsuccessful to us.

Only those who have invested a lot of assets in the cryptocurrency market can benefit in life. Because those who do not withdraw the investment if they do not get a share of the profit, they are successful.

At the moment those who are replacing their investments and moving elsewhere, I think they are the losers. The current market situation is weak. However, the market situation will be better. The price of Bitcoin may go down a bit. But the future will be much better. Yuan will further increase the popularity of cryptocurrency.

Although the formulation of new plans is not successful at present, many are successful by investing and trading. So you should always invest to trade in the market.

Bitcoin is now priced at $31k +. The price of Bitcoin fluctuates every time.  So the price for investment and trade in the market is constantly increasing.  The role of Bitcoin on population economy.  If the government of each country continues the trade of bitcoin transactions, the value of bitcoin will increase a lot.  Bitcoin and ETH are constantly in the digital ecosystem or virtual transactions.

No. I used to feel it until I bought bitcoin for $ 20,000 in 2017. Of course, I then sold it much cheaper, but I do not feel annoyed about this. No need to rush into this market thoughtlessly and even more so to invest credit funds.

I relate with this and I think along this line all the time but still, I don't have much invested in crypto not because I dont want or like to but because I don't have any spare money lying idle anywhere.
If I had spare money which am 100 percent sure that I won't be making use of in the next 6 months to 1 year, I did happily put it in crypto, but as it is now, I can't put my money in crypto today and in 3 or 4 days time, I will want to convert back to local currency for spending, i dont know anyone else sees this but it makes absolutely no sense to me.
But personally, my dream has always been to have a lot of spare cash to invest big in crypto, and am working hard to make this dream come true for me.

The right advice is not to invest with credit funds if you do not believe and analyze properly because you can be sure you will experience a considerable loss. if you believe maybe that's one way that can be taken.

because investing in bitcoin requires patience and smartness to see the situation and analyze it well so that you can decide when is the right time to sell or buy because every execution we do will have an impact on the next steps.

I believe that if there are free funds, then they must be invested in cryptocurrency. Six months or a year is a long enough period to just keep the money. During this time, we can increase our deposit if we buy cryptocurrency and wait for it to grow.

I may still believe because there are still many good people in this world, so that someone might want to give funds for humanitarian purposes.
Crypto is indeed almost the same as a combination of forex and deposits, so it must be fully analyzed and it takes time to be able to produce in order to achieve what we want.
but patience and not quick panic must be increased otherwise the wrong analysis is detrimental.

I didn't understand how cryptocurrency investing has to do with humanitarian goals?
And in order to invest in crypto coins, you do not need to be a specialist in the crypto world. For investments, it is enough to take top and old coins, such as bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin, etc.

Obviously you are right there cannot be a direct relationship between investment and humanity. but we can arrange to be able to make investment useful for humanity. otherwise it is clear that it is impossible and there will be no common ground.

If you have large funds, you can determine the number of coins for investment, but if you don't have enough funds, you need to analyze them so that the available funds can be useful. If you only put everything you can but whether it produces, of course it can actually be detrimental.

maybe by just looking safe we can just place it on a potential coin like you said. what is clear we need not hesitate to invest there. If it's a time like now it's clear we won't have to worry because all coins happen to be on an increase. If the situation is like 2018, of course we can't be like that, we need to analyze and place it so that the investment is not too long because the funds will be buried there and we cannot play it for other purposes.

I am happy if we can have a discussion, but do not make this discussion a sense of mutual blame and bad conflicts.

And yet I never got an answer to my question: what does investment have to do with humanitarian goals. After all, we do not help those in need in any way when we invest our money in crypto coins for our own benefit.
Nothing personal and no offense. I just want to understand what you mean.

If a person does not have crypto and thinks that he has lost a lot of money by not buying it before, he still has a chance.
There is still a lot of opportunity to make profit in crypto. Today, Bitcoin is in the vicinity of $ 39,000 and Ethereum $ 1680. If it is invested for a long period then good profit can be earned in it. There is no doubt if the rate becomes bitcoin $ 2,500,000 ethereum $ 4000 after 3-7 years.

obviously investing in crypto is very profitable compared to us depositing our money in a bank, it is indeed better to buy potential bitcoin and Altcoins, because they will create their newest ATH this year based on the halving.

so don't be afraid to do it if you feel heavy with the price of bitcoin and ethereum, you can do it on altcoin because it's the same later, when it's enough just move it to ethereum and continue to bitcoin.
This year is the year that many new ATH will appear and don't lose that opportunity.
