I would like to call for a vote for senators, these senators will help choose the next president
and help govern this community.
If you think someone deserve to be a senator, write his/her username below.
All presidents, become senators when their term end. Some users very active in helping the forum in certain way get senator tag as well.
To vote, simply write down the name of the user(s) you recommend (maximum of 5).
5 users with most votes will be chosen.
In addition to the general senators, there will be senators chosen directly in the most active communities:
Russian speaking section, will get 2 senators and the voting will be done directly in the Russian section. (Russian version (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=188624) - vote here)
Indonesian speaking section, will get 1 senator and the voting will be done directly in the Indonesian section. (Indonesian version (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=188300.0) - vote here)
Turkish speaking section, will get 1 senator and the voting will be done directly in the Turkish section. (Turkish version (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=188653.0) - vote here)
Bangladeshi speaking section, will get 1 senator and the voting was done directly in the Bangladesh section (Bangladeshi version (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=188651.0) - Voting completed (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?board=95.0))
Note: Voters must be Jr member or above with no -karma, strikes etc. No multi-accounts!

I just looked at this thread and forgive me my limited time for this forum.
I read the details of the Open Poster by the Admin and then I also saw the candidates to see each member.
I checked one by one with the badge printed on each member and I found the word "Envoy" in one of the Altcoinstalks members.
As far as I know Envoy is the same as the Minister.
I think Mbah Jenggot deserves to be a Senator. Good Luck mate !

I haven't voted yet as I was confused if you, who has a guaranteed spot based on your discussion with admin in another thread, is still up for voting.
I also remember admin saying moderators aren't qualified for a Senatorial role.
I've crossed myself out now, as me and mnixxo will continue to be senators regardless of votes (along with the 6 senators nominated by admin).
The idea wasn't to vote in moderators necessarily, but if users want them to be senators, then this will have to be respected I imagine.
Hopefully there will be a good balance of mod and non mods to be honest with you.

this is a community, each have had a role in growing and developing it
we had spartans and other ambassadors in the past, but i cut down the old programs, keeping the number of ambassadors very small
basically Mbah is among a selected few that are still operating as ambassadors
there are ambassadors that are not even members of this forum ;) (nope not a joke)

True, it's not closed and secret as a democratic process. Instead open and transparent, as well as verify-able ;) Personally, I not only wouldn't trust a closed election via a google form that wasn't accountable (no offence to admin or president), simply because trust appears unnecessary when able to verify, but also wouldn't trust the high participation that we are seeing from having this election for senators as an open process. I respect your criticism none the less though, maybe in the future elections will in fact be closed.

It's a good tactic, I see other users even adding more votes! I will therefore do the same and add hair to my list.

Thanks Ferki for your support, I appreciate that but i can't .
I can't handle the forum because my job is quite heavy .
I work as a laborer, where my work can take place between morning, afternoon and evening shifts .
I am not too focused on forums and this is my honesty, maybe others will be able to manage this forum well .
And I will choose Mbah Jenggot as the best candidate and maybe Mbah Jenggot can also know active female members who can manage this forum well . Thanks

The community will vote they think could help the forum better. They will not mention the name if they don't know. For me, the voting system is good to remind the future senators about the community's trust and support. This is quite unique and interesting. ;)
