Title: Bitcoin dominance has begun to decline.
Post by: Nostoman on February 24, 2021, 02:49:49 AM
when everyone is calling for moon and saying go all in into alts. Bitcoin dominance today go to 64.7% level and rejected from there. 64.7% is the local resistance zone and as long as it is above 62%, it will try to go towards 66-67% resistance zone. Watch out your trades. What do you think?

For a long time, Bitcoin dominance has been holding in the area of 60-65% and I do not think that Bitcoin dominance will fall in the near future, since now more and more people are interested in investing in bitcoin and I think the demand for bitcoins will grow every day, so it is even possible that Bitcoin dominance will grow more.

I think it's too early to talk about a decline in bitcoin's dominance. A small price correction does not mean anything. Bitcon is still the number one cryptocurrency and more and more large investors are interested in it. It is time for bitcoin to grow and it is only gaining its value among cryptocurrencies.

I would say Bitcoin dominance is still on the higher side. 2%-3% movement of Up and down of BTC dominance is not a big move for me. It is normal as far as I understand. There is no sign that Btc will start consolidating here I feel Btc will rise again and I hope the dominance of BTC will increase again, on the contrary, I also expect altcoins will also getting strong. BTC bull is still strong let's see how it moves in coming days.

The second round of the altcoin season will come very soon and bitcoin may remain with 55% of the capitalization on the crypto market! Every day we see more and more interesting things that are taking a piece of the pie! Bitcoin will lose its dominance by the next halving in 2024!

I hope it is the sign of altcoin season, the Bitcoin is starting to not dominate the crypto market again. However, it doesn't mean to expect the price of Bitcoin is decreasing, what we need is a sideway of Bitcoin price. Let's see what is the meaning or the impact of the decline of Bitcoin domination.

Is it serious or like a sudden response to the crypto market?
So far, the dominance of Bitcoin is always increasing. Moreover a few hours ago where the BTC price is down enough and made the altcoin price are decreasing. This really give a big influence on them

It is probably true. We know that BTC is always dominant to altcoins, always influence the price. When BTC price is increasing highly, it will make altcoins going down. And when the BTC price is going down, the altcoins are also going down. We need BTC sideways and decrease the dominance to make altcoins to the moon

This will only happen temporarily, because Bitcoin will again dominate the Crypto market.  Altcoins are currently increasing, this is the effect of rising Altcoin prices, some of them have reached their highest prices.

Yes it is true that the way Bitcoin was priced in 2017 continuously in 2018, 2019, the way Bitcoin prices increased towards the end of 2020 as sales in 2021 peaked at more than 50k+. This is because the richest people in the world are investing in bitcoin, but even then it has been seen that the price of bitcoin is constantly falling.

The dominance of Bitcoin has now declined somewhat. Currently the bitcoin market is going down a bit. But great results can be expected in the future. I think the total market cap of Bitcoin will increase by 200% in 2021. Which is much higher than in previous years. Everyone wants to set a new record in the bitcoin market. So keep watching the market, keep watching.

It's better to not take any kind of trades on alts if there aren't any upcoming events of that coin when bitcoin dominance is on high level or more than 60% ATM. Also, currently market on correction mode and maybe it's the best time to take entry on potential ats as bitcoin's dominance is still under 60% and hopefully it'll be on downtrend for couple of days to give us enough chance to fill our portfolio with both bitcoin and altcoins.

There is a moment where Bitcoin will be very dominant in the market, this will really determine the market condition, bump, and pump of the crypto prices. However, when the price of BTC is sideways, maybe this is will make the prices of the altcoins are increasing.

I hope that what you say with bitcoin prices is sideways true, because we hope that not only bitcoin is more active, but the biggest hope is that altcoins can also find renewable ATH so that there is enthusiasm for bounties which is indeed highly anticipated. because altcoins are currently the biggest foundation to be able to play a role at the best price.

The interest on crypto currencies is bitcoin and which is what brings in new investors and this is making the dominance of bitcoin get higher. Truly, the price of alts will increase and their interest will also increase, so long as there is a bull run in the price of bitcoin in the market. We all know that the price of bitcoin has complete effect (either positively or negatively) on alts, even on tokens/projects that are still incubating. The market condition of bitcoin determines the pump or dump of alts, and at times determine the success of most projects.

Cryptocurrency is not only bitcoin, but also more than 8,600 other types of cryptocurrencies. Moreover, as far as we can see, bitcoin is far from ideal cryptocurrency and most altcoins have much better functional characteristics than it has. Bitcoin can most likely be called the most speculative cryptocurrency. In bitcoin, many people are most interested in its price and its ability to constantly rise in value.
However, what interests me most is the development of the cryptocurrency market, not the rise in the price of bitcoin. Therefore, I expect Bitcoin's capitalization level to drop enough that it loses its price dominance over the rest of the cryptocurrency. Now this level is 60.7 percent. If it continues to fall, very soon we will be able to see the season of price increases for altcoins.

clearly what you are asking is impossible, as long as this is what happened and no one can avoid the reality that has happened so far, maybe next time there will be a change we cannot conclude at this time.
because it is clear that bitcoin is still the one that is still in power today.

As the BTC price is dumping so people are exchanging their crypto in other Altcoins so we are seeing a decrease in the bitcoin dominance. As soon as the market will get stable BTC will again go to its position. Nothing can beat BTC.

There is a rumor saying that there will be altcoins season in the near future. The drop in Bitcoin dominance may be the sign for altcoins season. People probably move their funds to altcoins because the Bitcoin price looks in a sideways position. In this situation, investors better choose altcoins that are improving better than Bitcoin this time.

At the present time the dominance of Bitcoin is beginning to wane. We all know this but it can be understood by looking at the currency market. One of the reasons why the price of Bitcoin suddenly started falling is that we don't understand it. Hopefully soon Bitcoin will return to its previous state.

I think the reason for the decline in the price of bitcoin is that there has been some bad news in the market and the demand for bitcoin investment has decreased however, it will not last long. Everyone is investing to keep prices down for which prices have started rising again this time the price increase will double Bitcoin.

It is true,
Usually when bitcoin prices are sideways, altcoin prices immediately go up.
But it looks like this year is a little different. Because the price of bitcoin this year is very stable and for me there is no sideway movement yet. So the altcoin season is still on its way.
But I'm pretty sure if that will happen

I believe that Bitcoin's presence in the cryptocurrency market is only increasing as Bitcoin's capitalization has increased much more than in 2020. But at the same time, one must take into account the fact that large volumes of bitcoin are withdrawn from circulation for cold storage, because large capital invested in Bitcoin not for short-term speculation, but for long-term prospects.

Even if the dominance decline it will still take a toll on alts nonetheless, then what is the essence of it all, I prefer when dominance is high and price is pumping which also gives room for some alts to pump alongside btc as well, because alts can not operate independently without the help of btc.

Despite the fact that the price of bitcoin has now risen above $ 59,000, its dominance in the cryptocurrency market has dropped to 54.7 percent. This is a good sign for me. This means that participants in this market are still paying significant attention to altcoins and this part of the market is also evolving.
The cryptocurrency market must develop comprehensively, there can be no absolute dominance of one cryptocurrency. Otherwise, such a market will be vulnerable.

Bitcoin is currently the largest cryptocurrency market. The price of Bitcoin has increased many times. Which is a lot more than Roi a year ago. So the situation with Bitcoin is going to get better. The resistance zone of Bitcoin is currently in the market with wavelengths to increase. So the price of Bitcoin will thus break the $70k resistance zone.

The fact is that the dominance of Bitcoin is decreasing only due to the fact that investments are distributed among other cryptocurrency assets, which have risen very much in the ranking. Nevertheless, this has no consequences for Bitcoin, and already at the present time we can observe an increase in the capitalization of Bitcoin.

Because cryptocurrency trading is always changing and difficult to control, it is certain that Bitcoin, when the price has gone up, will definitely go down too.
In other words, we must be able to anticipate by having Fiat or stable coins such as BUSD, USDT or USDC so that when there is a Bitcoin dump, we can buy more.

Absolutely yes, I think It is good idea. We should have stable coin when  bitcoin is going down, we can buy more..In my opinion investing is do the right time, the basic method is buy when low and sell when high. But we know, ceypro currency is unpredictable and cannot be controlled.

Bitcoin is one of the most popular coins.  It has been seen for some time that Bitcoin has stopped at 60-65%.  However, the state of Bitcoin does not look like Bitcoin will go down in the future.  It will slowly move just upwards.  Those who are investing are a little more interested in it.  It is very unlikely to reduce the price.  Bitcoin will grow slowly every day and the number of investors is likely to increase.

A very effective strategy, keeping stable Coins like USDT to buy Bitcoin when the price drops. I also do that a lot, but not on big coins like Bitcoin, but on small coins only. Because Bitcoin is now very expensive and it is unlikely that the price will drop dramatically, as happened in 2017-2018

The dominance rate of bitcoin continues to decline slowly and now it is already 51.3 percent. This means a reallocation of capital in favor of altcoins. I would like to see his dominance drop much lower so that he loses such dominance over altcoins. It is very interesting how the price of cryptocurrencies will be formed, if there is no longer a clear dominance of one cryptocurrency, and there will be 5-7 of them at the same time.

Today is still in a bullish period where most cryptocurrency will experience increasing prices or rates. However, I also feel the same that the dominance of Bitcoin is not as high or significant as in the past where the up or down price of BTC will really give significant influence to altcoins and make altcoins' price drop.
In this case, Bitcoin may still give a little bit influence when the price of BTC is going down, it will always drive the altcoins to go down again

Bitcoin dominance is so significant for everybody because some could speculate the possible next scenario especially for altcoins. But the dominance is not going deep just in the right rate where still Bitcoin has it. Crypto lovers who wait for almost 3 years are in speculation for altcoins season if Bitcoin dominance decline below 50%.

The dominance rate of bitcoin continues to decline slowly and now it is already 51.3 percent. So i believed that sometimes it dominance will increase or decrease. So we told that bitcoin price will not decline forever. Because we can see that bitcoin is the best valuable coin in cryptocurrency world
Bitcoin's price dominance rate is now 42.4 percent. We see that this percentage continues to fall. This is due to the fact that there are many good altcoins in which people invest much more than in bitcoin. And that's pretty good for the cryptocurrency market in general. I hope that the decrease in the level of price dominance of bitcoin will continue to occur and bitcoin will lose the possibility of such dominance after a while. Decentralized cryptocurrency doesn't need price dominance.

I think the reason why bitcoin dominance  has begun to decline, because there are may potential altcoins that compete to overtake bitcoin.
But It will take several years again to beat bitcoin, not for now.

Sure, There are many potential altcoins, but I think bitcoin is still dominance and will be dominant for several years again.
No potential coins will replace bitcoin for the next few years .
I think , It's really difficult to happen.

Bitcoin domination will survive for several years again, I don't think about potential altcoins that replace bitcoin.
Because It's not easy.
Bitcoin is still superior. and will dominance for the next several years again, No worries aboout it.

Bitcoin's overall dominance on the market is bound to decline somewhat as more and more coins emerge over time. It doesn't necessarily mean anything bad for Bitcoin, though - it is still the biggest coin and I doubt that will change in the foreseeable future.

Even looking at the content of these posts, one can clearly see that the dominance of bitcoin in the cryptocurrency market continues to fall steadily. In April last year, bitcoin had a 51 percent dominance, in November it was 42 percent, and today it is already 39.3 percent. Now the capitalization of many promising altcoins is increasing, and therefore, against their background, the total capitalization of bitcoin in the market in percentage terms continues to fall. That is, the price dominance of bitcoin over other types of cryptocurrencies continues to decrease. I don't see anything changing in the future.

Bitcoin is just good for the trading not for holding becasue its price is so much high and if we start trading on it we can make good money through that but if buy this coin and hold that and it comes down then may be we are in loss at that time and this is not good thats the main reason that the almost peoples will like to invest in the ALT coins.

The collapse of the bitcoin price in my opinion is not an important problem because this has become a natural thing when the bitcoin price is rising high there will definitely be a price correction that makes the price collapse as is happening at this time and one day it could become even more expensive.

currently market on correction mode and maybe it's the best time to take entry on potential ats as bitcoin's dominance is still under 60% and hopefully it'll be on downtrend for couple of days to give us enough chance to fill our portfolio with both bitcoin and altcoins.

The dominance of Bitcoin is cyclical and after the fall comes growth, it was so before and it will be so in the future. Now the alt season is really clearly visible and many altcoins show price increases stronger than BTC. I think the alt season will last until spring and after that the growth of BTC dominance will begin, if the global crisis does not come earlier.

Yeah, bitcoin price will reciver again and will be more expensive.
I think the domination of bitcoin isnit decline, It just correction and will recover again. No worries about it.

bitcoin is still very difficult to do price recovery because judging from the collapse of the price of bitcoin and the amount of bad news circulating cryptocurrencies make bitcoin often collapse, to recover it still requires a lot of capital money and a lot of time which is certainly not a moment, hopefully when the bitcoin price recovers it can through to the price of $100k.
