Cardano dropped below the 50-day SMA ($1.57) on June 8 but the bears could not capitalize on this weakness. The long tail on the June 8 and June 9 candlestick shows strong buying at lower levels.

The flattish moving averages and the RSI just below the midpoint suggest a balance between supply and demand.
This balance will shift in favor of the bears if the price breaks below the trendline. The ADA/USDT pair could then drop to $1.24 and then to $1.
On the contrary, if the buyers propel the price above the 20-day EMA ($1.64), the pair could rise to the overhead resistance at $1.94. Cardano shot up by nearly 0.34% over the last 24 hours and was trading at $2.27, at the time of writing. The resistance mark stood at $2.9 while the price seemed to be consolidated near $2.1. Technical indicators showed signs of bullish price action.

ADA/USDT pair could drop to $2 and next to $1.87. A breach below this important level may pull the pair down to the pattern target of $1.63
Alternatively, if bulls push and sustain the price above the 20-day EMA, the pair could rise to the resistance line of the triangle. A breakout and close above the triangle could clear the path for a rally to $2.47, followed by a move to $2.80.
