Title: What's going on with Tether?
Post by: pokxon on August 22, 2018, 07:14:58 AM
I see Tether (USDT) is issuing hundreds of millions of dollars a day in the form of escrow. I do not know what their purpose is. But I find that whenever they release more, the price of the BTC will increase.

as a rule, after the emergence of new batches of Tether, the price of bitcoin first falls, and then sharply increases

Escrowing USDT: This is good if they are escrowing a dollar to a USDT. This increases USD backup. This is bad if they escrow it to other crypto. This decreases USDT/USD.

as a rule, after the emergence of new batches of Tether, the price of bitcoin first falls, and then sharply increases

BTC/USDT would increases in this case but how about BTC/USD.
