Vitalik Buterin announced that he keeps 90% of his personal cryptocurrency assets in the Safe (formerly Gnosis Safe) multisig wallet. Such wallets use the M-of-N approach, where a key is split into multiple parts with equal access, and you need a majority of them to work.

Some belong to you and the rest belong to other people you trust. Do not reveal who these people are, even to each other, Vitalik wrote.

This is how Buterin responded to a thread in X about the importance of self-storage of assets. More specifically, he responded to a post by an X user who fears that the biggest risk in using a hardware wallet is the owner:

The court hearing has been completed. Binance founder Changpeng Zhao sentenced to 4 months in prison.

Changpeng Zhao wrote an open letter to the community:

"I would like to thank everyone for your concern and support, whether it be writing letters, X posts, or in any other form. It all means a lot to me and makes me strong. I will serve my time, complete this phase and focus on the next chapter of my life (education).

I will remain a passive investor in the cryptocurrency industry (and a hodler). Crypto has entered a new phase. Compliance is now super important.

The major upside to this whole process is that Binance has been under the microscope. Which means users' funds are SAFU.

Who has what expectations? Have you decided what price you're going to sell it at for 10 grand? I personally follow an all or nothing strategy. I'll hold it both before and after the listing. The same 500-1k dollars will not make a difference in life. But in the future, you can regret it very much.

The Bitcoin Realized Profit/Loss Ratio has fallen below 1, indicating that investors are now taking more losses than profits, with the bitcoin price rising almost to where it started falling.

P.S. Or will we see 80k for 1 bitcoin by the end of the month? Who has any thoughts on this? As far as I'm concerned, the situation is as incomprehensible as possible.

The judge disagrees with the DOJ's request to increase the sentence from 18 months to 3 years.

Says the judge: "There is no evidence that the defendant was ever informed of the illegal activity."

The hearing on the case of Changpeng Zhao, the former head of Binance, has begun - the prosecution is asking for up to 3 years in prison, the defense is seeking house arrest.

Zhao previously pleaded guilty, agreed to pay $50 million in fines and voluntarily came to the court session from the UAE to the U.S., from where he has been barred from leaving since his arrival, even on the terms of a large bail.

That's right. Any asset can fall by -99%, you have to take risks when making any kind of investment. Otherwise, it is best to watch from the sidelines. + Don't forget greed, it also plays a big role.

P.S. Invest what you are willing to lose tomorrow. I personally don't invest in memе instead I walk past them as I consider it roulette. Only a small percentage of users make money on them, the rest lose all their investments.

Trust Wallet have commented on the removal of the wallet from the Play Market:

“Google has temporarily removed our app from the Play Store. Google notified us of this possible action and we filed an appeal a few weeks ago. However, while waiting for Google to respond to our appeal, Google removed our app anyway. You can continue to use Trust Wallet on Android by downloading the Android APK file from our website while we fix this issue.”
