Yes mate i agree with you regarding this issue. Uniswap is one of the best exchanges now a days but if you deserve charge then definitely you won't eager  to use it due to its charge. I think it would be better to use exchange but other facilities like speed and trisections comfortability it would be great.

Binance and Kucoin is my all time favorite trading platform. Because trading volume of any coin is huge here. Binance has more trading pairs then other exchanges. Withdraw fee is minimum from these exchanges and their support team is very active.

In my opinion, Coinbase is the best exchange to start with as a newbie. You also may want to start with a few simple market orders on Coinbase first before going into the trading screens on Coinbase Pro. You could also consider Binance, but I don't find it as easy to use as Coinbase, although trading fees are cheaper. For staking I iuse bring.finance

Uniswap is Dex exchange and it’s Ethereum based . now ETH gas is too high and ERC-20 token transactions is more costly then normal ethereum. that’s why Using Uniswap is very difficult for normal small trader . for small trader Centralised exchange is best platform tor trading
