The ban on mining in China has bothered the price of Bitcoin very much. Because of that issue, Bitcoin price dropped drastically until today. I don't see any good news again in China lately, no green days in Bitcoin trend that can make Bitcoin price above $60k. Maybe the best days in Bitcoin already over for this bullrun season.

There are many bug whales from China, I think the ban on mining in Chinese has bad effect for bitcoin price, But I didn't agree with It will effect until now, because we all know it is bearish season.
We must realise, at bearish bitcoin will struggle and altcoins will follow bitcoin
Please wait at 2023, I think bitcoin and altcoins will pump again because we will see bitcoin halving.

I dont think so this month green candle next month may be it will be green some good news will come to pump bitcoin or it will dump more and more 32k it will dump so be careful from trade now days.

The Russian government needs to raise money now more than ever due to the conflict with Ukraine and NATO, and it looks like cryptocurrencies could be a big part of the solution to those problems. If the draft is finally approved on the 18th, we may see a significant global market rally, there are a few days left to have more information, a little more patience.

The funny thing is that when Bitcoin has gone green then all markets follow the price of Bitcoin and all altcoins feel confident and proven that they are super cool, this is often proven.
But after Bitcoin came back red and all the markets turned red then everyone complained the same as some of the members in this beautiful forum.

Lately, the question of the power requirement to run Bitcoin mining has been in focus. And so we now hear the demand for green Bitcoin referring to the Bitcoin mined using cleaner, renewable sources of electricity coming like solar, wind, water and maybe we can also include geothermal. And because of this concern and demand, there is a big possibility that some miners can be shifting their sources of power from coal to solar, though it may not be easy to do for some miners especially those in China.

Is there  a possibility that with this scenario, mining in China can be disrupted and its share of the total market can be slashed? Or will this issue just be forgotten weeks from now?

If China government refused bitcoin mining because has bad effect for environmental, I think the government should have solution fro this problem.
Maybe solar energy, wind energy etc.
Talking about green bitcoin ,Maybe China has good idea.
But I don't believe It will happen.

April and the next few months afterwards will be interesting for both stocks and crypto. It will be a bloodbath and this is not the bottom. Maybe not so much of a drastic change for BTC, but for the alts, the bottom is not even in sight yet.

Yeah, there are many alternative to electric mining , I think the government should have good solution if the ban bitcoin mining because of environmental reason.
Maybe  solar energy or other will be alternative.

Bitcoin will soon move to the green position. Because at the current rate the price of the currency has been pumping, and investing heavily. If the price of currency continues to rise at this rate, it will reach a stronger position.

The Chinese Hash Rate – the total amount of computing power used to mine bitcoins and process transactions as a percent of the global Bitcoin Network has fallen virtually to zero. And I doubt they will change their mind anytime soon, unfortunately.

You are right @mlawson71, the Chinese government has eliminated crypto mining in their country (at least that's what they say), but all that hash rate has not disappeared, it has moved to other countries, that's why I think it's something we shouldn't worry about. What the Chinese government has not been able to eliminate is cryptocurrency trading, although the Chinese government laws with exchanges are very strict, it does not mean that trading has disappeared, they have simply changed the ways of doing it.

There is a campaign at the moment led by Chris larsen to switch to green energy for mining bitcoin, this is expected to save more than 90% of energy consume by bitcoin mining. Some claimed it is an antibitcoin agenda but find it energy effecient especially at a time in the world that energy cost is rising. He is funding the campaign with $5 million and got organizations on his train

I never heard any news about mining in China but Good to see that bitcoin is increasing now and I see all the altcoins are green in the market, this is great that we will witness a bull run in the coming days but I hope this is not a bull trap.

Greenpeace is that campaign against the energy consumption of bitcoin. Today another tough topic is rallying in the media. An anti campaign to the group is expected to start soon. Other think the advocacy for Point of work for bitcoin will be better. The greenpeace campiagh is losing ground with lots of supporters as well
