The government in Abkhazia has extended an order prohibiting access to internet sites used by cryptocurrency miners. The measure is part of a wider ban on activities related to the extraction of digital coins that also limits the use of electricity... See more for yourself here.

Most countries illegalize crypto mining because of the use of electric power. This is my first time seeing the mining ban because of the internet. I mean that I think that the use of electricity is worse than the internet. Why should restrict the use of the internet for mining?
