Yes, I think the same as you and I think ethereum is the next coins that will stay behind bitcoin. But still, it's too difficult for ethereum to compete with bitcoin especially if ethereum wants to compete with the price. While I never fell in love with ether, it is a fantastic currency, and its contract ability proved to be quite useful.  While ether is not that expensive to send, I gravitated to other, cheaper to send currencies like doge and litecoin.  Ether virtually had no competition in contracts so far, would be interesting when ICO's start using other smart contract coins as well.

Yes I agree, had no doubt that ethereum is the best altcoin next to bitcoin. Though this coin was just created several years ago, but it seems ethereum is growing faster like what bitcoin did. For me, I think the growing community in crypto industry is the primary factor that makes ethereum stronger and valuable.
